Horrific customer service - no acknowledgment of messages of any kind. Items never ship and I paid for upgraded shipping. I strongly urge people to avoid this company. I am in process of reporting this business.Review from Richard P

Pre-ordered in November 2022. Looking for status on 1 Scoot B787-9 9V-OJJ "Pokemon" (Flaps Down) SA2TGW020A 1:200 from that order. All I get is that it has not been shipped yet! It is hard to imagine how you can list something for sale and now over a year later still have no shipping time?

This is a manufacturing delay that we have no control over. We do not manufacturer, we are only a retailer. We have contacted the manufacturer and they have informed us that they still intend on producing the model in question.Review from Walter L

This business was bought from another individual ************* (MA). When the current owners (in **************) took over this business they failed to fulfill pre-orders that I had paid for to the prior owner but **** recebefore he sold the businessto the present owners. Specifically, the new owners repeatedly contended I'd received several pre-order models from the previous owner which I hadn't. It became obvious that they were not going to either send the models or reimburse me for them. This is not the same DiecastAirplane Store it once was when operating in MA. I immediately ceased any further contact with this business as result of this extremely disappointing situation ( and had done over $10,000 business with the previous owner, so a big potential future income loss to these folks. Absolutely horrible company. Ordered a product (which I paid for in full). Never received my item. Avoid this company at all costs. They dont reply to emails or phone calls. It a shame too because I retired a year ago and was looking to vastly increase my 1/400 collection. Again they are a horrible company. Nothing but scam artist!!!Diecast Airplane Store Response

Sorry if we missed your email but we have thousands of happy customers! If you order an item, you will receive it. Some preorder items take a long time but most ship soon after ordering.Review from Kevin S

Good service on my first preorder. The second however ha been the exact opposite! Placed a preorder in late May. Other than the order confirmation Ive heard nothing from them. Attempted contacting them many times by phone or e mail. No responsecrickets! Their automated system sends me an e mail to my address asking for my e mail address. Ive included my email and phone number in the body of the inquiry message. Continue to receive weekly new release messages though. They where fine for me until I ordered a pre order aircraft a month ago. Emailed them 2 or 3 times. No response. Called lefted a message on there voice mail. No call back. I have the records from my PayPal that the money was sent to them in May. On Mr account with them it didn't show that I pre order. I just wanted to find out why..no answer or a peep from them. I'm going to call local police and talk to them about them. To me that's just steeling your money.Review from Deborah L

I pre-ordered a plane in February for my grandson's birthday in late May. The release date was to be 4/27. I have emailed several times only to learn that the plan has yet to be released (5/10) and they have no idea when it will be released. Therefore, no idea when the plane will be shipped.I asked for a refund and they said sure but we are charging you 20% because it was a pre-order.They want to charge me 20% because they cannot live up to their own sales agreement. Plane to be released on 4/27, now it is 5/10 and no idea when or if it will be released. No wonder they have an F rating.Review from Matthew S

Perhaps the worst experience to date. Purchased a model, it took several days to receive information about when it will be shipped. I paid extra for 4 day shipping. After sending several emails I was told the model was being shipped out, I was provided a Fed Ex tracking number. Model arrived poorly packed and broken. Contacted the owner and received a reply that the model was now sold out and I was told to file a complaint with ****. I had no information to give ****. The entire process of dealing with this retailer was uneasy and you honestly feel like theyre running some sort of second hand model store. I advise you to avoid this retailer and purchase models elsewhere.Review from James W.

Very frustrating return policy and lack of customer service to resolve issues surrounding a purchase. I requested a refund or credit based on poor and broken products, but no help was provided. After spending $92.49 on a two planes for a birthday present, I am out $92.49 and presents. I would recommend doing business with another company when dealing with model airplanes.Diecast Airplane Store Response

********************** first contacted us over 60 days after the models were delivered and in his possession that the models were damaged. Most likely, after his son had played with them and damaged them. Our written store policy is very clear that damaged items require that we be notified within 15 days of receipt and returned within 30 days of delivery. He did not follow our written policy and was well outside of our return policy. We have the most customer friendly return policy of any ********************** model **********************. ************************** negative review is unjustified. If these models had arrived damaged, they would have known this immediately as the models our contained within clear plastic and are clearly visible without removing the model from the box. This negative review is his attempt to extort free models a free shipping for something that was clearly damaged long after receipt.
