Alpha Omega is the roofing / siding contractor for my home builder. ************* is terrible for both roofing and siding. My house is less than one year old (10 months) and the siding is bowing, buckling, and falling off my house. They have been out several time to "fix" the problem, however my house is in worse shape when they leave. The siding is not installed correctly. Now for the roof. My roof is 10 months old and is already leaking. During the day long wind and rain storm on the 21st and 22nd, my roof started to leak. Water dripped down through the ** register in the master bath. I climbed up into the attic, took photographs of where the leak was coming from in between the roofing sheeting, and marked it with paint. Alpha Omega repair person comes to my home today, observe the water damage on ceiling around ** register, accompanies me into the attic, I show him where the leak occurred, but Alpha Omega repair person claimed that the issue was an ** issue not a roof issue and left. He looked at the photographs of the dripping from the roof sheeting, and still stated that "there was NO problem with the roof." He advised he couldn't find anything wrong with their roof and to contact the ** contractor. A 10 month old roof that leaks and they refuse to correct the problem. Repair tech. actually wanted me to stay in the attic while he sprayed water from my hose for 30+ minutes in the area of the leak so he could then see if it was leaking. I advised that he needed to return with the right people and tools to fix the problem. I am still waiting for a phone call from his supervisor. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ALPHA OMEGA FOR SIDING OR ROOFING.

I am rejecting this response because:
proof provided that the roof is leaking.  It is a new roof.  I want it fixed.

I am continuing to gain details of source for moisture at vent.  This will assist in providing correct action step in response.  Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:
Photographs clearly show water coming from roof sheeting.  I spent a great deal of time in the attic during a rain storm to diagnose leak.  Water was leaking from roof to ceiling drywall where ac vent was attached and down to floor.  No water pooled on top due to sagging drywall between ac vent housing.  I dried area with compressed air and a battery powered fan.

Their repairman arrived unannounced and without any materials to actually fix a leak.  Repair man did not want to accept photos of where **** was occurring.

Roof is leaking after 10 months.  Please repair. Stop trying to pass the buck.

next step is to file a complaint against business license

Working in conjunction with builder, a scheduled visit, water test, check of nearby plumbing pipe penetration and review of the shingle area of reported evidence of water around interior vent register, was conducted on Friday, December 30, 2022.  Please note while the water test did not reveal a pinpoint of incoming water the review of surrounding shingles and review of plumbing pipe collar are believed to be in sound condition.

Please notify our office should you have any recurrence and your builder while under initial homeowners warranty period.  Thank you.

Alpha Omega Construction Group, Inc is a preferred vendor for insurance companies. They were referred to me by the insurance company after a hail storm. They replaced the roof and used a subcontractor to do the work. There are flashing issues, drip edge issues, and some damage to the sheathing. They also did not put the membrane on which was agreed upon prior to doing the work. I have been back and forth between Alph Omega and the insurance company. Unfortunately no one wants to take responsibility and resolve this problem. They then demanded payment even though they did not do the job properly. Then they threatened to put a lien on the property. The bill has been paid, but they have not fulfilled their end on the contract.

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2021/09/17) */ Alpha Omega Construction Group of Raleigh takes very seriously its professional obligations to its customers. The Company worked diligently over a period of several months, including through independent inspection, to verify that all work had been completed in a proper and workmanship fashion. Alpha Omega has not uncovered any outstanding issues that fall under the scope of the work the Company was retained to perform. Despite this, the homeowner has rejected these conclusions and continues to contend that the work was not completed properly. Alpha Omega has explained to the homeowner that the proper avenue would be for him to submit a warranty claim, which would allow independent confirmation of any alleged workmanship issues. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2021/09/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Alpha omega has not provided any documentation from any independent inspection. The CCO sends letter stating they will replace roof do to all the problems then bails out. Very shady in how the handle issues. Didn't even use proper materials so I could have a warranty that was agreed upon on contract. If they care about the customer they would follow through with contract and not try to bully people. Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2021/09/21) */ Alpha Omega wholly disputes the homeowner's characterizations but, unfortunately, has been unable to resolve the situation in any reasonable fashion. As stated previously to the homeowner, the proper next step should have been for the homeowner to submit a warranty claim through his insurance company, which would allow for third party evaluation of the alleged workmanship issues. Alpha Omega regrets that the homeowner chose instead to file a public complaint.
