On 03/30/2018 I went into Semper fi guns in ************ ** and purchased a ****** Defense Mk 18 short barreled rifle and a SilencerCo Saker 556 suppressor. Both of these items are NFA items and require a tax stamp and ATF approval after the wait period. I paid a total of $3209 for both items and have the bank transaction. I waited my year for approval and upon calling the store was told my purchase was not approved because I had moved during the process. I asked for a refund and was told all sales are final but I could use the funds as store credit. At this time I was talking to a man named ******* to help me use my store credit. After multiple attempts to use the credit, and emails no orders would ever get placed by the store. So then I get told ****** got fired and there is a new person thats going to help me get my store credit of $3,209 used. His name was ***. It was the same case of emails and calls all of sudden stopped being returned. I attempted many times to call and speak to the owner. Then a marine I served with, her husband actually started working at the store. I asked her to see if he could help me with it. And I was told when he asked about it he was told to not entertain it. I paid this company $3,209 and received no merchandise, no items, no refund, no settlement or anything. *** tried many times and the store owner will never answer or be there when I call. Ive been trying for 5 years now to get this fixed.Initial Complaint

On 11/15/21 my payment was draw for a firearm order, on 11/16/21 i contacted Semper Fi guns and requested to cancel the order. On 11/17/21 i received a phone call that said there may be a 25% restocking fee if the item had already shipped. I states if it had already shipped i would just buy it anyway. The Employee informed me they would figure something out and call me back in 2 hours (never received a phone call). Now approaching 3 weeks i have no refund and contacted the business once more and ask about the refund and once again stated if the firearm already shipped i would purchase the firearm anyway to avoid the restock. I was informed that they where too busy to communicate with me or refund me nearly $1k. I have purchased nearly $6000 worth of firearms from this store this year and never will spend another dime here again.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2021/12/02) */ In reference to complaint filed by ****** *********: Communication has been intact since customer contacted requesting to cancel online order. Customer was informed that item ordered is not stocked by dealer and wholesaler would have to be contacted to see if order can be cancelled to avoid restocking fee of 25%. In addition, the transaction also had not posted electronically to initiate the refund process. Postings can take up to 3 business days. Once transaction was verified as posted, attempts were made to refund the purchase in full. However, the credit card processing company sold to another company and online access to refund electronic payments is not currently available. With the addition of holidays and the inability to speak with support at the credit card processing company the refund has not been possible by electronic methods. The customer has been contacted and informed that a refund is being issued and we are working on trying to complete it electronically. All patronage is appreciated, however, Mr. ********* has exaggerated his prior purchases by more than $4000. In order to resolve this complaint and expedite a refund, the customer has been issued a company check in the full amount as well as gift certificate for the delay. We value are customers and unfortunately the holidays and other factors contributed to a delay in resolution. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/12/02) */ I do not except, this is a complete lie! My payment had already posted and been extracted from my account when i contacted semper-fi gun. Additionally, Semper fi guns has aslo lies about my purchase history- 1 mini 14 all weather- $1500+ 1 DD m4v7 $1700. 1 CZ 1012 + or - $680, 1 Ruger American compact $500, 1 Sig p320 $500. This company cannot even do math i guess. It is no fault to me that Semper Fi claims a credit card company has been sold! I want proof that the firearm ever shipped by close of business Friday. If they cannot produce proof the weapon ever shipped than I want the restocking fee also re-instated. The holiday is no excuse as i requested a cancellation more than a week prior than the holiday. I was lied to by this company for 3 weeks. I point blank told them on the initial phone call if the firearm already shipped i would just buy it. The response was "i will call you back in 2 hours to let you know". No one ever called me back and has kept my money for 3 weeks claiming they are "working on it" and informed me today is hat because i filed a complaint "we will not help you get the restocking fee back since you complained". Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2021/12/02) */ The customer has been offered a FULL refund of his purchase. No restocking fee will be applied. We are also issuing a company check so we will be charged credit card fees that we incurred and will not be reimbursed. Additionally we offered a $50 Gift Certificate for the inconvenience. Consumer Response /* (2000, 15, 2021/12/02) */ Owner has contacted me. Problem resolved, no need to provide gift card but thank you for the offer.
