On 11/23/2021 At 3:30pm I went to this establishment to get my hair done. I asked for a balayage and showed an exact photo I would like it to be done like. I told the lady I was getting this done for my wedding and I want my hair to be down to my hip for it. She did the "balayage" and cut my hair 6inches shorter after asking for just a trim. It was approximately 8:40 at this time and I was sent out of the salon with wet hair because she "did not have time to dry and style it" I got home and dried and styled it and it was so short and so disgusting, I was appalled.. I called back and asked for a refund at 10:00 am the next day. I went in to get my refund after constant run around from the unprofessional owner, I asked to see the licensing of the lady that did my hair. The owner snatched the licensing and hid it under her shirt for unknown reasons. I continued to attempt to make an appointment to fix my hair and the owner begun raising her voice and threatening to call the police. I was in fear for my safety so I stepped outside and called the police myself.

      Business response

      01/07/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2021/12/21) */ Ms. ****** received a requested color service on November 23, 2021. During and immediately after receiving the service, Ms. ****** had multiple opportunities to observe and voice any concerns regarding the outcome. No concerns were voiced, she paid for services and provided a gratuity to the stylist. On November 24, 2021, Ms. ****** contacted the salon stating she didn't like her hair. She was offered appointments on November 24, 2021, November 28, 2021 and November 30, 2021, based on her availability, to speak with the stylist and discuss modifications, if needed, to which she declined. She later made an appointment on November 30, 2021, which she later cancelled. Ms. ****** was explained the process for modifications and referred to our posted policy (at the salon and online). Ms. ****** then agreed to an appointment on December 1, 2021 to discuss modifications with the stylist. During the December 1, 2021 appointment, Ms. ****** was provided an option to have her hair color modified but she declined. Ms. ****** became visibility upset and disruptive. After providing her with the stylist's license information and location of posted licenses and offering appointments for color modifications, she continued to disrupt salon operations. Because of Ms. ******'s unwillingness to be respectful to our team and clients, she was notified we would not continue to provide her service and requested her to leave. Ms. ****** refused to leave the salon and ************ Police Department was contacted. Ms. ****** was then provided a citation banning her from the salon. As a result of her false claims, the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Arts came to our salon to investigate her claims. Our salon was inspected and received an A rating. They found her claims to be unsubstantiated. We made every attempt to make appointments and assist the client with her concerns however, she refused the assistance that was offered.
