    We needed a licensed general contractor to do major repairs on our home damaged by Hurricane Florence. We contacted CCPM & told them we were in need of a Licensed General. They wanted banks requirements showing a licensed GC was required which I provided. ***** ****** later mentioned waiting on a qualifier to get a license number when I pressed her further for documentation. In order to secure a spot on their waitlist while we started the process of vetting their company & getting the bank’s approval, they asked us to put down a REFUNDABLE deposit of $5,000. After much back and forth with ***** and ***** ****** dba CCPM it came to our attention that they misrepresented themselves as being licensed general contractors but ***** said she was going to be taking her GC test July 5th. Since we were already in talks with them for over 2 months, we afforded her a small amount of time to secure her GC license. However it became clear that ***** and ***** had no plans to get their general contractors license as the date came and went and they never took the test, nor produced documentation of the GC license. Due to the requirements outlined not only by our banks but the NC board of contractors for the dollar amount of work required to fix our home being in excess of $30,000, we notified CCPM that we would no longer be using their services and requested our $5,000 deposit back. ***** texted she would return it but never followed through. We contacted our lawyers who sent a demand letter June of 2022 that went unanswered. Absolutely no work was ever performed and no contract was signed stating we would use CCPM as vetting uncovered no GC license. We are requesting once again for our deposit back.

    After entering into contract with CCPM, and in light of their inability to complete work in a timely fashion, as well as quality of work performed by CCPM. I requested a refund of monies paid up front for work that was to be completed in my home. Mr. ****** continually pushed start dates back, only to start the project and then continue to make excuses as to why he was unable yo stay on the job till completion. He worked in my home for a total of 5 days (not even full days at that) and was no where near even having completed 50% of the job. When asked to discuss refunding my deposit I was told by Mr. ****** that he had done 50% of the work and no refund would be given. He had actually done more damage to my home then work. We had to remove and repair all self leveling he had applied as well as the subfloor in order to fix our floors properly. I informed CCPM that if we could not reach an agreement that I would be taking them to court. I filed small claims court and paid the fee for the sheriff to serve the owner of CCPM and the only name listed on my contract which is Mrs. ***** ******. In court CCPM did not show up. I presented my case with pictures and contracts. The court ruled in my favor in Aug 2022 to have CCPM refund my deposit. I received a text from Mr. ****** on Aug 23, 2022 acknowledging the courts ruling. However I have still not received a refund of my deposit from CCPM. Homeowners beware!
