My name is ****** **** and I bought a car from Tony G****** at Mt. Jefferson motors in West Jefferson, NC. The car turned out to be a terrible car and died the day after I took it home. They attempted to distract me from noises that the car made and after the car died I went back to them and told them about the at being dead and that the alternator, battery and alternator belt were the problem and that Mr. Tire in Boone, NC on Hwy 421 gave me the diagnosis free of charge considering that I bought a car that died shortly after purchasing it. Tony G****** at Mt. Jefferson Motors had the car taken back to a shop that he preferred and told me that he had it repaired. The next day, I went to work and found that the battery light came back on and when I got it to a friend of mine who owns an auto repair shop in Boone, NC to look at it. I found that the motor itself needed to be replaced entirely. And these people at Mt. Jefferson Motors likely knew about it the whole time. Then, as I tried to take it home and then to get them at Mt. Jefferson Motors to again repair it, the car died on the road not 30 feet from the auto repair shop I took it to. After which, my friends at Wrench Works in Boone looked at the battery, and it wasn’t even a new battery. They also looked at the alternator and the alternator belt. Neither was repaired or replaced. They simply put in another battery. I spent $3,300+ on this car and they sold me a car that I cannot use. I need your help. Mt. Jefferson Motors does not have a good reputation on Google reviews and I should’ve checked it before I bought this vehicle. But regardless, this is unacceptable from someone who claims to be good businessmen. I’d like to ask for your assistance.
