I would give an average to poor rating based on my recent purchase from this breeder. All I can say is "buyer beware." I was not informed by the breeder that my beagle's AKC registration was marked "limited". I didn't discover this until a couple of weeks after my purchase. At the time of purchase I mentioned to the breeder that I was interested in breeding my pup; however, she did not inform me of the "limited" registration type which means that dogs designated as Limited cannot produce AKC registerable litters. This fact should have been disclosed at the time of purchase.

AKC gives the breeders the right to decide weather a puppy could be sold to breed or should only be a pet. This particular puppy was way to small to breed. Her adult weight will only be between 9 and 12lbs.The average Beagle is 20lb. and up as and adult.I do not keep any to breed myself because it puts the dog at risk.I do advertise on the site that the puppy is registered as pet.Pet price is also extremely less then breeding puppy price. As the **********'s was about to go out the door she said we might breed her.I then told them she is not sold to breed. they never questioned it. they acted happy i never seen a look of disappointment . They could have changed their mind then. I am sorry that they are disappointed with me .I really was not trying j to decieve them . and I will take extra measures to make sure eveyone is aware . of their puppies registeration .As much as I would love for all my customers to be satisfied, I also have to be aware of the pets safety. We were told that she would "likely" be too small to breed; however, We were NOT told that she was not being sold to breed; and as mentioned before, we were NOT told that the AKC was a Limited Registration. (BTW she is already 6.2 pounds and 8.5 inches tall at 14 weeks.) She is a precious little girl and we have fallen in love with her already, but we were hoping to have a litter that would be AKC registerable. Thank you for your response.

I really do apologize ,for this misunderstanding for the decision I made to limit the registeration of my litter of puppies you bought from. My reasoning is sincere. I know that you said you had fallen in love with her but you still would like to breed. I have a new litter 5 weeks old that would make good breeders. They will be at least 20lbs grown and may leave in 3 weeks. They are registered AKC full breeding rights . I would be more than happy to exchange puppies with you, so that you can breed. Please let me know and you can have pick of the litter .Please except my apology and my offer. sincerely Rebecca

Thank you for your kind offer; however, as I mentioned before we (including our 2 other dogs) have already fallen in love with our new baby girl. She is so full of life and personality!
