There needs to be a ZERO star option! Do not use ************************* or Chimney Pro (********** or ********* **) as he will not do the work or refund deposit. I paid ************** a deposit of $401.25 on Jan 22, 2023 of which he never even tried to do any of the work he was hired to do. He was supposed to install gas logs in my fireplace and now 2 months later he has never showed up. I have contacted him many times in an attempt to have either the work completed or refund my money. Every time he had just another excuse why he couldnt work. Now he only makes fake promises to come and finish the work but then doesn't show. And the sad part is that he tries to manipulate you by using a story of a baby in intensive care that supposedly his girlfriend just delivered but after reading about his complaints online, she must just keep delivering a sick baby every year since he has used that excuse for years. He isn't able to keep his word but he sure is able to keep your money and laugh all the way to the bank.Review from Wendy P.

If I could a 0 I would. ************* owes me $545.00 for a deposit I made to him on September 30, 2022 for the installation of a gas line and gas logs. He never even started the work. Although I have contacted Chimney Pro and ************* numerous times and he has said he would send me the money he never has. Please ************* refund my money.Review from Ann B.

***** was given a deposit for the purchase of and installation of a chimney cap back in March 2022. As of November 23, 2022, the cap is still not installed. ***** has been contacted many times and he either doesnt respond or lies about installation dates. He deserves the rating of F and I do not recommend him to anyone. He needs to refund the entire deposit so a reputable company can be found. This business is a con only.Review from John F

********************* came to our home to fix our gas log fireplace. After about 45 minutes he advised that he couldnt fix it. We gave him a check for $535 as an advance payment to replace it. Weve heard several excuses since then (mid Dec 2021) but no word on replacement gas log fireplace. Now they (and I believe the company consists of only *********************) wont return calls or text messages. Its been over 2 months. Ive hired an attorney to pursue action against *****. Id love to see him arrested for the con job hes pulling. Ive since research Chimney Pro/*********************, and he has a long history of stealing peoples money.Review from James P

My gas fireplace would not ignite when I threw the switch this November. After my nephew unsuccessfully tried to repair my fireplace, I *********** fireplace repair companies and found Chimney Pro. Owner ********************* came to my house December 15, 2021 to diagnose my fireplace. He determined that I needed to replace both the pilot and valve. He quoted me a total price of $501.23 and asked for $281.00 upfront to order the parts, which I paid him. He warned me, that due to supply chain issues, as well as the holidays, the parts might take several weeks. His warning proved correct. He texted me January 21 that the parts were in, but due to scheduling issues, he was not able to return to my home until February 2, 2022. Mr. ***** completed the installation and I paid him the balance due. My fireplace now works as designed and I am very pleased with Mr. *****'s repairs.
