I brought my vehicle to this shop November 17, 2021 after "check engine" light came on and the code (P0101), read "Camshaft Position Censor." I told Rodney I did not want a diagnosis ($101.00), just for the part to be installed (which was $170.38). November 24, check engine light came on again w/same reading P0101, "Camshaft P.Sensor) and I called Trask Auto and told them. I was asked to read the code to the person I was speaking with and I did. He replied, "yeah, camshaft"but I can't look at your vehicle today because we are swamped and its day before Thanksgiving. To which I replied, "yes, I understand, but you all installed a part on my vehicle and my "check engine light" has come back on with the exact same reading. He told me to bring vehicle in next week after Thanksgiving so they can look at my vehicle. I took my vehicle to Trask this morning (Dec. 3,2021), Rodney took my key and said mechanic will look at car. After 30-40 mns. Rodney said my car had been looked at and it wasn't Camshaft. He printed this paper and told me I had to take vehicle to Nissan Dealership for them to reset "check engine" light. He preceded to tell me how much he was charging me for Diagnostic. I stopped him and said that the man on the phone (Dillon), told me to bring car in to be LOOKED at since you all were the ones who installed Camshaft P. Sensor. He NEVER said anything about DIAGNOSTIC charge...nor did Rodney say ANYTHING about DIAGNOSTIC charge when I checked in at the front counter and gave Rodney my key! After Rodney (unsuccessfully), tried to swindle me with mechanic talk and realized I wasn't going to pay for "DIAGNOSTIC" he THREW my receipt across the counter to me and told me to "GET OUT". Rodney is a very rude, immature, pathetic businessman. Rodney is the owner/manager. This business owner that is suppose to be a man, and businessman got very angry w/a woman that brought the TRUTH to his attention and RODNEY's response was to THROW MY RECEIPT ACROSS THE COUNTER AT ME AND TELL ME TO "GET OUT".

She is right about one thing. she said she didnt want diagnosis only to replace the camshaft position sensor. I explained to her that we would not be responsible if it didnt fix her car. She was ok with that. She didnt tell us the code. We replaced the cam sensor & erased the fault for her. She then call back & said her check engine light was back on. Dylan told her there would be a diagnosis charge if she wanted us to check it out. She came in Friday December the 3rd & handed me the keys, I told her we would check it out & let her know what was. I pulled the car around & when I did I noticed a clunking noise at the left front wheel. I saw that the center cap was falling off. I asked my tech to tighten it up for her & when I came back to the front I mentioned it to her. She asked if we could install the center piece for her also & that it was in her trunk & she would need to get it out. I told she could go back there. While she was there for 10 min my tech told me all she did was complain about the last place that worked on her car. after about 45min my tech handed me the diagnosis & I was typing it on her ticket while I was explaining our findings. the fault was p0101 which is for a mass air flow sensor not a cam sensor. he also did the out put test on the sensor & found that there was a ECM reflash for that problem. She asked if I could write that down for her & I told her it would all be on the ticket. I then asked her if she was paying with a check card or cash. She started shouting & asked what I was charging her for. I explained for the diagnosis. She then yelled, I didnt want you to diagnose it. Saying no one told her there was going to be a charge even though Dylan did tell her. I then told her not to worry about it just dont come back. I could not have thrown the receipt at her because it has to be paid before I can print it. Hopefully another shop will read this & refuse to work on her car. I will not drop to her level & I hope one day she will find peace.

Rodney you are a liar, and you nor Dillon (Dylan), ever told me about a charge and that is the TRUTH. I would not contact BBB for no reason. We all have better things to do. And If that was the case why didn't Dillon (Dylan) speak up when I told you and him at the same time that no one told me of a charge? You are correct about me complaining to your mechanic about another shop AFTER he pointed out center cap being broke. You and the other shop was wrong! I never yelled and you know it. You are a liar and you did throw the receipt across the counter (you were on one side of the counter and I was on the other side of the counter). And after you threw the receipt you YELLED and told me to "Get Out" You and the other shop have bad business manners. But UNLIKE YOU, the other shop admitted to their mistake. Grow up and be accountable for your poor and immature actions. You are a very distasteful person.
