  I hired ****** to build me a 40ft long retaining wall at 4ft high with some grading involved. We discussed exactly where I wanted the wall to be built which was close to the property line which was marked. I discussed with him that I wanted to wait due to the weather, however he was adamant and confident to start. When he started that job he left the property multiple times and left his worker to start building the wall. The consequence of him leaving was a wall that was not properly leveled correctly. He also decided without my approval to build a 27ft wall, the wall was also built further from the property line, then he built the remaining wall and added to the wall vertically which has caused multiple issues with the leveling . The wall also does not have a proper drainage system, he literally placed corrugated piping at the very top of the wall with no place for excess water to flow out just right back to the wall. The wall has started to fall In multiple spots with it being built less than 15 days. The vertical wall is not even to the existing wall and has started to shift. He also left a tree ***** behind the wall . One of his employees placed excess gravel rock on a neighbors property which I cleaned up for 2 hrs on the first day of the job I was kind to help phill clean that up. ***** also caused some damage to some pavers, and edging I had which I never brought up because I was going to replace it eventually however, he doesnt clean the job site after a days work, and leaves trash laying around. When I messaged ***** regarding my concerns, he acknowledged that the wall wasnt built straight and leveled which was concerning to me, why would you not rebuilt it . He stated he would come over and adjust some blocks in which I responded that just adjusting some blocks wouldnt be what was needed. He didnt fully take responsibility. I have given him multiple opportunities to make this right. Im having a difficult time getting a refund at the moment.

  There was a sentence that I stated the wall was falling , it was supposed to say failing .

  I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. We have contacted him multiple times and he has continued to ignore us. The last message I sent him I gave him a chance to come back to my house and look at his work and fix it. He never responded back.
