FCI installed hardwood flooring throughout the first floor of my home February 6-8, 2023. I contacted the Operations Manager (Opn Mgr) on June 12, 2023 and sent photos of defects in the wood. Opn Mgr stated on June 16, 2023 the Installer would come and replace boards. FCI would also arrange for manufacturing representative to come out with salesperson to look at the defective wood. I contacted Opn Mgr for project status update on November 1, 2023. Opn Mgr stated the Installer would come and make repairs. Installer came to make repairs on November 15, 2023. Stated he was not prepared to make that level of repairs and would have to get approval from owner. Opn Mgr is Co-Owner who stated repairs would be made. Followed up with Opn Mgr on December 5, 2023 who promised to contact manufacturing representative. Would like repairs completed immediately. We met with Mr. ***** and our factory rep at his home. Mr ***** was not available for us to come in to his home until this week, the 22nd of January. It was determined that there was nothing wrong with the hardwood or the installation and this was communicated to Mr. *****. There are some squeaks in the kitchen floor and we will determine if there is anything more we can do to reduce the squeaking this week. The day of the week depends on the outdoor temperature and not raining. We are in communication with Mr ***** about those to variables.
