      Thursday April 25, 2024 *************************, owner of Install It Guy, came to assemble and install 3 fans. While assembling the fans he ruined a wooden arm on my chair with his electric drill. He did not clean up after himself while attempting to hang fans. He did not finish the job because he needed to order a part. He came back to install the fans the next week. He had already mentioned he try to help repair the chair. Only one fan is property working and he did not help with chair. He then did not show up at several scheduled appointment times and blocked my number. I am asking for my money back so I can repair my chair and fix the fans.

      Found the business Installitguy owned by *******************************(aka *****) on FB marketplace. On 06/24/2023, his initial visit for a quote on a home improvement project for my condo, while I was showing him the apartment, I had a near pass out situation and he was really helpful, promptly called 911. Was really impressed and asked him for a reschedule for 06/26/2023. After the visit on 06/26/2023 he provided me with a quote and an invoice of $2000 and mentioned that I pay him $500 in advance so that he can reserve his time for the following week. On 06/27/2023 after both ends agreeing on a revised task list at same price, I hired him by paying $500 advance via Zelle. He himself promised to start the work on July 4th. On July 3rd he texted me saying he was not feeling well and will have to move it to the weekend. I was considerate and wished him well. Over the week we discussed and he committed on the following schedule for the work at at my place: Sun- Jul 9 Wed - jul 12 Thurs - Jul 13 Fri - Jul 14 Sat - Jul 15 I agreed and requested him no further delays because it would affect my other scheduled tasks. On July 8th he texted saying he still wasnt feeling well and needs to push it further and will be starting on Wed July 12th. A little concerned I still said ok and we decided to meet on July 11th at 5:30 at the apartment so that we could go over the details and also give him the key. On July 11 he never showed up, has been unreachable on his mobile via call or text till date. I asked my friends to call and txt to see if they could reach him but in vain. No reply to my email. Wasnt reachable on ******** marketplace where I originally found him. Reached out to the business via ****** Maps Chat and on July 12 I get a response Refunding soon we have a family emergency had to go out of ********************* refund request for $500 was declined by him on July 16. All further attempts to reach out were in vain. This is my final attempt requesting a full refund of $500 ( since 0% work was done) else I will be forced to file a legal complaint.

      We agreed upon price and work to be performed and he'd expedite the work if I paid up front. I trusted he would do what he said but when he didn't I fired him and hired someone to fix his mess and complete the job. I am just now pursuing this due to Covid and the after effects.

      This job is over multiple yrs old 

      customer chose to have finished by someone else . We werent paid upfront . And zero balance is due or owed. 

       

      One of biggest problems in contracting is people want bbb to resolve issues but facts are not said as facts but non truths are said. 

       

      Last I heard from this person they didnt wanna wait to get finished so they volunteered to let me stop and get someone else to finish. 

       

      More than sure that text could be pulled up. And proven . 

      So our response is simple we didnt over charge actually under charged ! 

      also it was customer that decided to end wasnt a fired situation it was thanks ***** we are gonna go with someone else to finish and now close to 2 yrs later we are now hearing I was fired and want a refund 

       

      nothing to refund we did work got paid the very small amount and it has been over for a long time so we will not be refunding anything

      I am rejecting this response because: of course he would lie about how much was owed back to me and that I did pay him for service he couldn't perform always giving an excuse as too why he couldn't do the work this or that day. I will take this as a loss and have already told all those I know what a loser he is and buyer Beware when it comes to using his company as he's not trustworthy. Regardless if my request for a refund was late it should still be honored but there is no honor in him so his response is not at all surprising.

      This involves me paying George "*****" C****** $150 to install a brand-new dishwasher for me. He came out to my house on Feb. 11, 2023, and was supposed to install it. He said he could not finish the installation because there was no power to the dishwasher and he would have to come back the next day and fix it before he could get it up and running. He did not come back they next day and for the next month he cancelled and made up excuses TWELVE times but never came. I paid him the $150 and was supposed to pay him another $50 when he came to fix the electrical problem in his words. He left parts to the dishwasher scattered on my counter top during this whole time. below is a partial timeline of his messages to me. After his last "excuse" I told him I need it fixed and I had to hire an electrician to come out. The electrician showed me that the dishwash did have power to it but had never been hooked up. There for I had to pay AGAIN for a job that was already supposed to have been done, I reached out to Mr. C****** and advised him that I expected at least a partial refund for work not done. He refused and blocked me on the FB Market Place where we were corresponding. Dishwasher Timeline - 12 No shows Feb. 11th - you came to my house to install the dishwasher, Feb. 12th - you were supposed to come back & finish but said “I will see you this week and get your dishwasher working” No Show Feb. 13th you said “think about Wed or Thrs am No Show Feb 16th you said “I am going to come out Sat” Feb 17th you said “I’ll be able to do these couple of items on Sunday mid day for sure” Feb 17th you said “be better tomorrow kids are out of school Presidents Day” Feb 19th you said “ so this kid has begged me to wait to go to your house so he can go so I can come tomorrow afternoon so he can come. Feb 20th you said I apologize but I am going to have to do this Sat.. Forgot my daughter had good news meeting and tom is Lee’s therapy. Sat mid am for sure” Feb. 24th - you said “we are going to wake up and I’ll text you when I’m headed your way” Feb 25th - you said “we are trying to get there Lee is having a ton of issues this am”

      We were called to install a dish washer we installed that dishwasher no electricity was on when we got there . We hooked it up and still didn’t work she said she didn’t want us coming back and was going to get a electrician to fix her electrical issue at end of day she has threatened me physically and told me she would make sure I was harmed . So we took that as a physical threat and decided to let her do what ever she was going to do and told her not to contact us directly again she is a a very threatening person and we have had multiple messages on our website that came from them we have ip addresses recorded and any further attempts to harm us will result in law enforcement . 

      all we can do is do what we were hired to do 

       

      if she had a electrical issue that need fixed and wanted a credit from us threatening my life was not way to get it. 

      so we will not be responding or even addrsssing any claim . End of story.

      I reject this answer as total fabrications on the part of Mr. C******. First off, the “we” he refers to is his 6-year-old daughter and his eight-year-old son.
      He is a one-man operation. He came to my house with his children and said he could not hook up my dishwasher because there was no power running to it but he would come back the next day and get it started. My 48-year-old son was here and witnessed everything. He took my money and never came back. He has a long standing history of doing just that to many many clients as his reviews on the Internet prove. As for any threats by me to Mr. C******, the only thing I ever threatened was legal action after waiting over FIVE weeks for him to come back and finish the job. I also have an electrician who
      will testify that there was power to the dishwasher, so Mr. C****** lied from the get-go and never intended to come back and do a job he did not know how to do. It is laughable that he would even say that he did not come back because I threatened him. I am a 71-year-old Christian lady who (unlike Mr. C******) has no history of criminal activity or fraud. Mr. C****** is a Big and Husky young man and I doubt very seriously he would be afraid of a frail 71-year-old woman. Now, I am seriously considering criminal charges against him for theft. He has been charged with that before in addition to his other criminal records. (See attachments) I have much more evidence including the two witnesses who are grown men.

      I paid ***** to come install a storm door. He came right away. I also paid him extra to get an extender piece to help keep the door open at the bottom. He promised he would come back in a few days to install. **** me excuses on how he had issues with his car and had to pay X amount to get it fixed. Then he wanted to come when he didnt have his kids. but to date he has not returned to fix the door or refund my money. Even though he claims he comes pass my house everyday to go home. Not to mention he did a horrible job on the door. The handle never worked, there are gaps everywhere which I planned to address when he returned. This was in May 2022. To date my door is still horribly fixed and no *****.

      I paid Installitguy $144 on or about 5/28/21 to install a ceiling fan in my office and to buy a switch to properly wire my outdoor ceiling fan. The work wasn't done. Alot of excuses on how busy he was until he told me that he couldn't do the work. I asked for a refund and he told me he would do this. I never received the refund and when I asked again, he hasn't responded to my text messages.
