In July 2022, BBB investigated VogueexFinancial’s business practices. This investigation was prompted by a scam tracker report. The victim was contacted through social media with a request to purchase digital rights to the victim’s artwork. The victim was “continuously messaged me via what's app” to go to the business website, https://voguexfinancial.com/. The victim then “entered $222 worth of cryptocurrency and possibly my social security address into the site before realizing I had been scammed.”
On July 27, 2022, BBB sent an email to VogueexFinancial with the following questions:
· Business start date
· Physical location and mailing address (if different)
· Preferred method of contact (mail, fax, or email)
· A brief description of the products or services your company offers
· Information on how and where your company advertises
· Copies of marketing materials provided to your customers
· Any additional information that would enable BBB to better understand your business
On July 27, 2022, BBB checked the website (https://voguexfinancial.com/) to determine when it was created and where it was registered. The website was created on June 29, 2021, and the registrant name/information was not disclosed.
On August 1, 2022, BBB confirmed by mail returned that the address where VogueexFinancial’s website, https://voguexfinancial.com/, claims to be located is not the business address.
As of August 10, 2022, BBB has exhausted all forms of contact with the business. No response has been received to email communications. Postal mail communications are returned to sender. Lastly, the phone number included in the Terms of Service section of the website directs to a different business.
