I'd like to file a complaint against Childcare Network. My 2yr old attends **** ** *********** ** but this is directed toward the overall business. For the past 2 months, there have been severe staffing issues where paying parents are turned away in the morning on a regular basis. They do not have enough teachers to accept the number of children enrolled in the toddler or two year old program. The school is open in the 7am hour for parents to drop off their child before work, but we have to stay until after 8am daily to make sure there is a teacher for our children for the day. There has been one or two instances where we were told there is no teacher after 8am. They say we could drop off at 9am but there is never a guarantee for the teacher and by that time parents have already needed to call out of work to care for their own child. The second issue with this is, my daughter turned two on February 10th and was supposed to move up to the next room but she is yet to move up due to staffing issues in the two year old room as well. This has caused us mental and physical stress as it is now a month and a half later and her development and focus on toilet training has been delayed, which starts in this two room. I have been very patient and understanding up until last week, when I wrote a letter (attached) to the administration on 3/13 about my concerns and never heard back. I followed up on 3/17 and nothing. My wife contacted the area director today and received no response as well. One parent is close to losing her job because she is late to work daily since there is no staff prior to 8am, when majority of the parents start their work day. The regional offices need to step in and find a solution here. There is a nearby location that does not have the same issues. The lack of response to my concern about my child tells me the feeling is not mutual. I'm supposed to trust this business caring for my child but I'm just another paying customer.
