We purchased our home 03/31/2023. Immediately noticed 14 defective windows. We filled out a warranty request with Atrium. Atrium did not respond. We want our windows replaced.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: Atrium never responded to our warranty request in the first place! They mailed us, the homeowner, two boxes of parts. We contacted the media who sent Atrium an e-mail. That is the only way we got a response. The warranty for the service call and labor is now expired. If we have additional problems and have to call ********************* again we will have to pay for the service call and hourly labor. We would like to have an extended warranty that will also cover the service call and labor for the next 3-5 years, in writing. The technician has to come out of ************** and travel all the way to ****** Tennessee. We don't feel that we should have to pay for labor and a service call being that 14 out of 14 windows were not functioning.

I have a warranty on windows from Atrium. I contacted Atrium about windows failures on 5/14 and began the process. I was informed that the only company that they work with in my area is ******* ****** ******** (***). I contacted them and they came out and measured the windows and confirmed the exactly which were bad and agreed on an installation price. When 16 of the 17 new windows arrived at *** and I was then told that I had to come out to their facility to check and the windows and then after that they would not be responsible for damage during storage, loading on the truck, transit to my house and unloading. This is not normal for this industry and I refused. I found an installer to pick up the windows. 5 of the 16 windows had significant problems. I am now being told by Atrium that they can't find a distributor to send the windows to AND that I have to accept scratches less than 4-6 ft!! Their only suggestion to to send the windows to *** and they are not responsible.Business response
