MBA Roofing gave me an estimate of about $27,000 to replace my roof. Built into this estimate are contingencies that anticipate additional costs such as the replacement of underlayment. The job is finished and I have been sent a final bill of $35,000. The final bill outlines a number of extras, all of which seem to be covered by the original estimate. Additionally, I was neither told about any additional costs or asked to approve additional costs during the course of the work. I was simply sent a bill that was about $8,000 higher than the estimate. I have contacted MBA and requested an explanation for the difference in costs. Though I was assured the representative would be in touch, I have not heard anything.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:I have to study the original estimate, which had additional expenses built-in. Though I appreciate MBAs efforts in reducing the invoice, it is still several thousand above our original agreement.
If, after looking at the numbers, the offer is fair, then we will accept it

Year was 2020. We paid$4100 for a roof for my home. The business was MBA Roofing at ******************************************************************. The problem is the shingles on side of home is bowing up. Called and left emails about the problem. The shingles as a warranty. They say they would send someone out. But its been over a week.Business response
