      I purchased shoes from their website in January, they arrived and I tried them on, in the house. I sent them back within a week as they didn't fit. It wasn't until April that I received an email stating that they realize this might be "upsetting" but they will not be offering me a refund. They claim the shoes have been worn - they have not, I only tried them on once, in the house, then sent them back. Why did it take The Walking Company so long to open my return and come to the conclusion that the shoes have been worn? And how does trying shoes on, in the house, equate to them being worn? I thought Walking Company was a reputable company when I purchased the shoes and I have bought shoes from them in the past no problems. After this experience, I will not buy from them again, as I do not think they are trustworthy anymore.Their website is excellent for finding what footwear is available as there are lots to chose from, however I would recommend buyers purchase those shoes elsewhere.

      Ordered boots and they came damaged. Terrible customer service overseas. They wanted to charge me a return fee even though the boots were damaged. This is a terrible company!

      The pumps were uncomfortable, so I returned them. This company makes it very difficult to return anything. One has to search for the return address (in tiny type) and create one's own label. It took TWO MONTHS for my account to be refunded! They lost my business.

      They took my order and charged me for the pair of shoes. A week later, I still had no tracking information on the order. I called the company several times, each time being put on hold indefinitely, until I called exactly as the clock struck 9 am one morning (their opening time). The *** that I reached investigated the purchase and told me that they were permanently out of those shoes and that I would be issued a refund. The explanation the *** gave was that I must have ordered the last pair of shoes at exactly the same time as someone else, and they got the shoes. Then why did they process the order in the first place, and why did I have to go through the lengthy process of having to initiate the refund? Very poor and deceptive service.

      Highly unresponsive and unethical customer service. I received a pair of slippers that were too large, and I tried to contact the company immediately to exchange them. After waiting on hold for up to 90 minutes, texting the customer service number (the website says it accepts texts), and emailing several times the first week, I received no response. I finally got in touch with a customer service rep via their chat feature several weeks later, (after waiting for 20 minutes in the chat thread), and he told me that the exchange window had passed, and that they had no record of my previous communications being submitted. I provided screenshots, and they offered to send a $20 credit to my email. Given that the slippers were about $100, this is useless. I now have a pair of slippers that I can't use, and don't have the money to buy new ones in the right size. I will never order from this company again!

      This is just a horrible company to deal with. They never answer the phone. They gave me a wrong email address...it came back. I found another email address buried in their info. I have forwarded my email on so we will see if they answer or if it is bounced. I will let you know as I am a fair person.!!!!!!!!! Don't deserve one star.

      I returned a pair of sandals that I had ordered because they hurt my feet. This was at the end of June. I paid to return them and had not worn them other than in my house. I received an email today, 2 months later that my purchase would not be refunded because they had been worn. I am out $100.00 and have nothing to show for it. This is unacceptable. Be sure I will not do business with them again.

      horrible service from the carolinas.my order,my delivery address has been hacked into overnight.they changed my delivery address for not paying the extra **** for shipping..just got a return lsabel from a live voice in ********* calf i am use to deal with since the walking company opened,now the walking co.i've but 2 pair of sandals for my plantar facilities calf,is back up and working..over night the carlonas,changed my delivery address and email..call are also beeing routed to the ***********..and your ZEN DESK is not consistant,attending nor helping..its just robotic voice.i am on the phone trying to reach calf..not any other state or this globe..thats why we are being conditioned for identety theft..i think not! sales rep in carolinas,abroad no nothing about planktar facilities..and we have no stores to try shoes on.the carolinas ***** me off by not refunding me,when i have to return sandals,,their hatefull ha,ha voices,the narssistic hate is more than discriminating as hatefull. i'm sure i'm not the only one. peace and trust at all cost.

      I used to be a fan of the Walking Co. I ordered a pair of shoes that are made from them in my regular size. When I received them I was very skeptical that they were in fact the correct size. Nowhere on the shoes was a label indicating the actual shoe size. Since there are no more retail stores I needed to return them. Not only was I charged a $10 return shipping fee but also a $10 processing fee. Had I know that all the retail stores had in fact closed down I would have never order from them.
