    We purchased our house in April of 2019. Shortly after, it was identified that the dishwasher was leaking out onto the kitchen floor. We contacted Mr. ****** about the problem and he sent someone out to 'replace' the dishwasher. Assuming that is what actually happened, the problem still persisted even after the dishwasher was 'replaced'. We contacted Mr. ****** about the continuing problem, but failed to receive any acknowledgment/reply from Mr. ******. Without the issue being addressed/fixed we continued to capture the water in a pan during each load that we washed. However, a few days ago, we noticed a large amount of water being soaked up into the carpet of the master bedroom. It has been determined that water was actually running under the house and not just out of the washer onto the floor. This problem was never identified by Mr. ****** when they came to 'fix' the original problem with the dishwasher. Their failure to not properly identify nor fix the problem has caused waster to be running under the house and soaking up into the framework to the point where it now has damaged the hardwoods and carpet on the lower level of the house.

    Because this is a long standing issue that was never fixed by Mr. ******, insurance doesn't cover this damage. When contacting Mr. ****** about the ongoing issue that they failed to fix within the original 1 year warranty period, he informed me that because the 1 year warranty has expired that there is nothing that he will do to correct the issue. However, I found on this site a buyer who had a similar problem (water leaking and damaging framework of the home) from the outset of buying his home in 11/2016 that Mr. ****** failed to properly correct at the time. After contacting Mr. ****** that the problem still was not fixed, he stopped getting replies from Mr. ****** Then, four and a half hears later when the buyer posted a complaint on the BBB website, Mr. .****** chose to correct/fix the issue with a week or so. Based on that response by Mr. ******, I find it difficult to accept the argument that Mr. ****** can't do the right thing and correct his original mistake just because the 1 year warranty has expired ... he clearly has done it in the past.

    As a side note to the above mentioned issue with the floors and possibly damage to the foundation of our house, during our original inspection after moving in we reported to Mr. ****** an issue with the stairs and railings (some wood not having been stained and most of vertical metal posts having stain all over them). The first person he sent out reviewed the situation and arranged a day when I could stay home from work again for them to come fix the problem. That day came and the person who showed up said they couldn't do the work because they were not the right person to do the job. So, I arranged another day to stay home from work only for the next person to show up 4 hours late by which time he didn't have time to do the work because it was more work than he had been told it would be. So, I took yet another day off of work for him to come back and do the work and he never showed up. After contacting Mr. ****** about the still existing issue with the stairs and me having already taken 4 days off of work, I stopped getting any return correspondence back from Mr. ******. To this day the stair rails and posts are still not fixed/corrected.
