On 05/20/24 my car was towed from my PIAD parking space. By law the tower is required to locate a parking pass before towing. My car has one in the front seat. That is visible if you look in the car. The tower took a picture from an angle and claims he could not see the hanging tag displaying the number on the pass. The owner was rude nasty his wife/worker was also rude and nasty when asked the name of the business and would not provide their name. I asked if we could come to a resolution, since this was my paid parking space in the car was towed without reason and the owner simply stated no, and hung up the phone on me. This is the most unreasonable disrespectful nonprofessional towing company Ive ever worked with.

This company clearly by ALL the other reviews overcharges and is very rude. They towed our car for only expired tag that my young daughter forgot to pay. We explained she did not gave the money and said they do nor care and would charge 65 everyday making it where she would loose the car. They would like that because they could sell it for more money at auction. This is their crooked strategy. The office person is rude and hung up on me when I wanted the price explained. Obviously she has to deal with many complaints if this nature and tired of it.

First off this is a business.  We was called by the apt manager to remove the vehicle.  The storage is the same as local bodyshops.  Car had expired tags they should of parked somewhere else until it was fixed.  We didn't even charge the usual fuel surcharge and they still complain.  No bill adjustment.

I am rejecting this response because:

This company has some gall considering  a fuel charge when they towed less than 3 miles.  It shows their greed and not caring about someone that could not afford the $780 plus scaring with a 65 per day or taking their car.  These thieves need punishing.  Good thing the attorney General now is considering laws to stop these rude non caring people in gouging and taking advantage of people. Why did they require cash when they advertise credit card.  Another dirty tactic?

*07/19/2023 @ 09:23:49 *I paid $402.80 to Jacks *********************************************** Service LLC. Located at ********************************************************* *My vehicle was parked Infront of my home located at *************** Ct. and was towed on 07/18/2023 around 4pm by Jacks *********************************************** Service LLC. My problem is not only is there no sign posted stating that your vehicle will be towed if you park there or the fact you don't have any way of knowing who towed your vehicle. Then when you do find out where your vehicle is, and you try to get it back. You have people who are supposed to be professional being rude and nasty. My main concern is the fees that were charged. I would like a refund for the over charge. **Those charges consist of - $22.80 - $50.00 Fuel for {3.4 miles}* - $150.00 - $35.00 No Key* - $70.00 Storage * -$75.00 Gate Fee* * = Over charged

The was towed by the police department.  The town has a no street parking because emergency vehicles can't get down the road.  ********** called us to remove the vehicles.  ********** set the rate for tow storage and no key.  Company policy is to charge  a gate fee and fuel on everything that comes to yard.  At the end of the day the vehicles  was illegally parked and towed per police.  This is a business  and fees are associated with running a business.  No refund will be given nor can a customer dictate the price.

1/21/23 I was at night club in ********, we parked in a open lot with no no parking signs posted. After the club was packed someone put up no parking signs and the tow trucks were called in. Tow truck driver charged me $300 to get unhooked. On top of that he was being an a****** No warnings were given no time to move cars they just drove in and hooked up.

At the end of the day no parking means no parking.  Property owners have a right to say who use their property.  We are contracted to patrol the property.  The owner wanrs noone on property after hours.  The signs was put up the day contact is signed.  I dont feel like i as a business owner show have  to stop and take away from valuable day to address a disgruntled person who is slandering and bad mouthing me company.  And the BBB should do more to filter the foolishness by making complainant provide burden on proof instead off just typing a bunch of lies.  Im not providing no refund nor am i going to address this any longer.  No parking means no parking and just cause you don't see any signs don't mean you can park there.  At what point does the vehicle owner accept responsibility for there actions and stop trying to blame the tow company who was hired to do a job for there actions.

My car was towed from a business that told us that we could leave the car due to a flat tire and a medical emergency, which the ambulance was called on sight. We were in the ** and when I came back to meet the tire mechanic the car had been towed. After further research this gas station ad tow operation does this all the time. We were from out of town on our way home, which we were driving a luxury car with our belongings packed up in the vehicle. They hiked the towing price to $660 for having our car for a few hours because they felt we had the money to afford the cost - I don't I just started my job and this is ridiculous. The price hike was not realistic - $100 to $200 - OK, but $660 - when the car shouldn't have been towed in the 1st place. Our encounter wasn't pleasant and racist to add insult to injury. I was told they can charge whatever they want if I want my car. I had no choice to pay it, but this is criminal. I want a refund for this instance.

      Business response

      12/20/2022

The car was left at business blocking the front door and was told it be removed within a hour. The car was not removed the business can't Jacks to removed the vehicle.  The price of a illegal parking vehicle runs from $175 to $5000 as stated on the signs.  The average is about $400 because of the work involved to remove vehicle without a car and this vehicle requires special tools no to damage the vehicle drive train so rates a little higher. The racism stated came for the customer see told me I am one of them i should help her out. At the end of the day the color or your skin nor the car you drive dictate the prices.  My rates are what we charge for our services if you don't like my rates don't park in one or the lots we do business with.  People want to put a price on goods and services but don't no what it cost to run a business.  Sorry for you inconvenience and your experience but the price is my price and no refund will be given.??

Went to get a car that was towed, and hours of operation online stated it was open 24 hours. Went at 7ish at night and gate was open. Pulled into gate and got out to see where to go. *** comes at me aggressively and states hours are 9-5. I apologize and say hours online state 24 hours. The guys walks to me more, and says I said come back 9-5. So I leave and come back the next day around 12. Hand the lady inside my license and go to the car to get my registration. He is outside staring at me, I ask if there is a problem but a car alarm goes off and I cant hear him so I just walk back to my car to get the registration. He comes after me all aggressive and tells me to leave and he was calling the police. I ask what the problem was and he only answers my mouth . I leave the property and wait for the police because he wont give me back my license. The police tell me to contact the BBB

This company illegally fined my wife 300 dollars on the spot for a parking violation. They booted her car until she paid. They did not follow the protocol set forth in nc general statute 20_219.2 per the sign that was there. The statute gives them the authority to tow and charge recovery/storage fees but not to levy on the spot fines. What they did is basically extortion and illegal.

They complaint was illegally parked on private marked property.  The fine was not demanded the fine was the drop fee.  We have contract with property and they call us to come remove trespass tows.
