Had company paint indoor ceiling in Feb. 2019 with assurance that heating and cooling bill would be lowered. Gave it some time. Since then my bills have been sinificantly higher causing my current electric bill to be $2600. This company failed to provide correct service and did not live up to their guarantee of lower bills.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2021/07/23) */ The customer did reach out to us that he was not happy with the results. I asked him over the phone for his energy bills so we could look at the Kilowatt hours usage. Sometimes people don't realize their usage has been lowered. He did not want to do that. I offered for my installers to come and put an additional coat of paint on the ceiling. He did not want us to do that. I then offered him 500.00 dollars to just resolve the matter and he agreed to that. He received the check and I thought it was the end of the situation. I have tried everything to resolve this dispute but no cooperation from the customer. We try very hard to satisfy our customers but they have to work with us. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2021/07/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Yes they offered to repaint, i did not want that. Then they offered only $500 which I reluctantly accepted but the KW usage is even higher still. All the calls they have made have been to collect my past due payments, not to make any further resolution or cancel the contract for a defective product. If they wish to see the Kw usage for the past 12-18 months, they can email me and let me know. Otherwise I am contemplating filing a civil suit for a defective product Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2021/07/28) */ As a business owner I have tried to resolve this customers complaint. He accepted the 500.00 I offered, so it shows I have tried to accommodate him. The finance company is the one calling him. That is an agreement between him and the finance company.
