On January 16,2023, I met with ******************* Markham from Markham Visuals to discuss a landscape design of my backyard. He was confident that he could design a beautiful landscape plan and deliver a 3D fly through video of the plan. On January 25th he delivered plans and video. On February 2nd I replied I was dissatisfied with the plan. Sent an email - "It does not consider the steep grades we are dealing with from the top of the fence yard to the back. The pool elevation is set, and so is the fencing, so there is no way this design could ever be a reality. In addition, your plot does not match the fly through. At this point, we have two choices. 1. You can rework the design to accurately reflect the elevations, the wall, the pool and requests made. (This is why I hired a designer; this is not an easy yard to design.) 2. Refund my $800 and we part ways. Let me know how you would like to move forward."***** called and said he was confident he could make it right. He would come back after the retaining wall was built and create a new design that accurately reflects the elevations of the yard. ***** returned on April 24 and admitted he had not taken the elevations into account. He said he would have new designs for me by May 8. On May 22 he emailed he would deliver by May 26. On May 26 he did not answer my email. On June 2nd I called *****, he answered but it was disconnected immediately following. I texted on June 2nd and he replied that day that he had been battling ***** and would have plans for me by the end of the week.This Sunday, June 4, ***** emailed 3 photos of the backyard with digital landscape laid over them. I replied that I was disappointed that the plans were not at the level of a paid professional, they do not accurately reflect elevations or the treatment of the elevations. I requested my money back. ***** replied that he has spent many hours on the designs and would not be issuing a refund, or any part of one.Business response
