Based on a friends experience around five years ago We had *** and his crew come in and reface our large kitchen, right at $25,000. Within days we had large pot drawers that wouldnt stay closed, (wife backed up from sink and tripped over one), large pantry doors that warped, garbage can door that is falling off, some that are fading, others that wont stay closed, etc. *** came back and replaced slides on the pot drawers, worse than the original. Spoke to the owner at the home show a year later and he promised to make things right, stating we are so so busy ( aka understaffed). We have been promised many times this will be fixed but when the time comes nothing, no phone call when they say they will call, no one comes to the house, nothing. So much for a life time warranty. They do good work but apparently use sub par slides parts etc, I would have a hard time recommending American wood reface based on my experience. As my friend that recommended them said, dont pay them in full until you are happy and all the work is complete. Guess I learned the hard way.Business response

We would absolutely love to finish this job as we have had the reordered pieces in our warehouse waiting. The customer has been very difficult to reach, we have several messages back and forth between both the Sales Manager, ***************** that sold the job, and the ***********************, the Installation Manager that installed the job. There has been some vulgarity used by customer in messages and over time this has caused a reluctance to contact. We will be happy to finish this job as always.
