My husband and I went to Subway #****-0, at ************************************************************************ at 2:30pm on 03/18/23. My husband went in while I stayed in the car, and he informed the worker we have food allergies like we always do when we order from Subway. I have always ordered the same sandwich, which has Honey Mustard.The honey mustard changed, one of the employees ******* said a few weeks ago they got it and that they were starting to use the new honey mustard early at their store. I had eaten only 1 bite of my sandwich and immediately knew it was wrong. As we are sitting in the car trying to figure out what this sauce was since it wasn't the honey mustard that I always get, and I feel my allergic reaction start. We tried to find the ingredient information online but the updated information is not available.We went in and asked for the ingredients list to see what was triggering my allergic reaction since it could require the **** After looking at the in store nutrition sheet and the honey mustards product packaging for the information, she told us she had no way of finding the ingredients.After concluding they have no way of finding the ingredients as their store was not sent ingredient information with the new product, we told them we want a refund. ******* called the store manager *****, and she said they would not do a refund, stating that it is the responsibility of the consumer to ensure you are ordering something that is safe, that in the past when Subway has updated ingredients they have sent new stickers, posters, etc. detailing ingredient changes which they did not receive for the new honey mustard, and that they have no reason to believe any ingredients have been changed due to not being notified of a change, and any further issues or concerns need to be taken to corporate.Businesses serving food are required to keep updated nutrition info on their products, which they do not have.
