    On 10/12/23 I placed an order using the Taco Bell app and proceeded to pick up my order and head home for my sons therapy. I appreciated the app for the convenience and time saving features but upon trying to resolve an issue with Taco Bell directly, it was clear that the app is does not benefit me as a customer. I arrived home and began giving my family their respective orders only to be appalled by the lack of quality and I was missing items. The *** tacos had zero cheese, a teaspoon of protein and about four pieces of shredded lettuce (see photos). I immediately took photos and attempted to call the store but nobody answered the phone. I went to the store the next day and was told that I had to call the Taco Bell customer service number or email because I ordered on the app. I then submitted a complaint on the business website and waited a week with no response before calling. After waiting for a substantial amount of time for a representative to answer my call, I was told that the issue was my fault because I did not check the items before leaving the restaurant. The epitome of gaslighting. I was also treated with no respect as I was spoken over and not given an opportunity to finish a sentence. I was given no resolution and told to contact the store (yet the store told me to contact customer service) directly before being hung up on. I am on a fixed income and trying to feed a family of six only to be given quality not worth more than a few dollars. I am told that my call to Taco Bell customer service was recorded so that there is evidence to completely justify my issue. *****, who I spoke to, was the definition of just a mean person.I am simply asking for a refund so I may be done with this issue. It is not fair to treat people this way and leave them with no resolution. The only next step I can take is contacting my local news with pictures and supporting evidence of this treatment. Please just give me my money back.
