On March 3, 2024 I went to Charlotte Dental to have surgery done for a tooth cap. I was told by previous Dental Doctors at this practice that I needed a cap on my tooth. I finally paid for surgery to take place. But, when I get to appointment I was told by another doctor that it could not be performed. I was disappointed, but I asked, "Will I receive my refund of $650.00". Yes you will receive your refund. After being counseled by the doctor, the nurse assistant walked to the finance desk. But, the nurse assistant told me to wait outside while she talk to the finance person. I figured she wanted to explain to the finance person the reason for the refund or if I should receive a refund. She called me back inside to talk to the finance person and she wanted me to spend the $650.00 dollars on other dental work. I said, "No I would rather have my refund first". The finance officer explained that the process of me receiving my refund would be 5-6 weeks. I said, wow why would it take so long. She said they have a corporate office and they will have to return the refunds. I said, why couldn't it just be refunded back to my card. She said she would try to talk to the corporate office to have it expedited. I really believe that was some mess that her and dental assistance cop up to refuse my refund to delay and pressure me to use the funds on other dental work. I would rather go to another dental office because they refuse to do my dental work. I would rather have my refund before this week is out. I need my money to get my dental work done somewhere else.
