Union Power Co Op installed a new Trane system for ** in 2012. Ever since they have been engaged to maintain this system . Each spring we pay in full for a Spring and Fall Check up .We had our Spring Check up on 6/13/2023 and a check was issued for $213.43.which covered the spring and upcoming fall Check up.We learned vert shortly, within days ,that our fall check up would need to be handled by someone else..the department that handled our check up was going out of business.Union Power took full payment knowing they would not be providing our fall service we were not notified a head of time and finally after multiple phone a paltry refund was issue for $42.90we have been cheated and would request help please.. I reached out to the Operations Manager and was summarily dismissed .Thank youBusiness response

Union Power does not sell HVAC systems nor maintenance of such systems rather Union Services. Union Services sold these HVAC maintenance programs as a one time maintenance of $159 or a two tune-*** per year for $199 plus tax. The difference in the one maintenance tune-up and second tune-up is $40 plus tax, and was refunded to those customers that who had received only one tune-up during the agreement period. The final decision to close the business was in June of 2023 which did not for advance notification to all customers.
Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:Union Services was a Union Power Company.Since Union Serives is no longer in business the only option left was to file a complaint against the *************** We always purchased the two tune *** per year program , it was Union Powers decision to discontinue the program , at the time of making the appointment we should have been informed of the decision to discontinue the programwe may have gone with another company that option was ours to make. Union Power received payment for a two tune up agreement knowing they were not going to honor their part of the arrangement, we were NEVER informed of the program being droppeduntil we called just a few days later nor was there any explanation of the $159.00 one time maintenance option .at best this i for should have been included when the paltry check finally was deliveredi find it disgusting that a Company such as Union Power is hiding behind the excuse that Union Services is no longer in business Union Services was a Union Power Company
BBB we need your continued diligence please
