We contracted with Estates By ******************* ** to sell prized fine Antique furnature , collectibles , house hold items and furniture. We thought that the Monroe branch manager was the right person for the job. After a couple months visiting the store we saw many of our items had been sold and asked for a check and was told by the manager she was behind on paper work. Then we found out the Monroe branch would be closing and visited the branch and was adamantly told by the branch manager not to worry and that she would take care of us very sincerely. Quote- Im not going anywhere and you can always contact me . She reassured us that she would stand by us. After the the store closed she put me in touch with the company owner in *******. During several emails and texts the owner said he would look into it and one message he said the company is cutting checks at the end of the week. That was many many months ago. We were in contact with each other for a while - One message from him was that we were on the top of the list to be paid. I still send him messages by email and text and no reply.

We had an estate sale in April 2022. It is now September and we have not received our portion of the proceeds of the sale. We have attempted many times to contact the company but get no replies.

Lady we worked with left in March I heard from her in February said she was working on a payment. Was told some items have sold. Have received nothing for months. Cant get ahold of them. Many bad experiences with this company I am reading. Everything is pretty much a loss at this point. They rip you off.

I hired Estate Sales By Jonesy to conduct an estate sale at my deceased mother's house in ********, *******. I worked with Zee and Ellyn in the company's ************* office. They conducted the sale the second weekend in May 2022. Under the contract, an accounting and payment were due within 30 days. They have provided me nothing and have ignored my requests for payment.Even worse, I provided them a garage door opener so they could access the house to prepare for and conduct the sale. They claim they lost the opener! The house is being sold next week. I will need to pay the buyers for a new opener and to have both openers reprogrammed. I can't leave the buyers vulnerable to such dishonest people. If I can get my money from these fraudsters, great. If not, then at least I can warn others to steer clear of them.

I set up an estate sale at my deceased mothers house on May 26 through 28 of 2022. The sale profits are supposed to be split 50/50 between my mothers estate (of which I am the administrator) and Estate Sales by Jonesy. The process, they said, could take a month. It has now been over 6 weeks. The company has not answered emails and the phone number on the website goes straight to voicemail or simply rings forever. Now I see the large number of complaints against Estate Sales by Jonesy on the BBB website and how many people the company simply never pays. They did not take any of the property to their warehouse; its a simple payment processing situation, and yet the company is not responding and apparently does not have any intention to settle the transaction. This is a pattern. Also, their website claims they are BBB accredited; this is a lie. I am owed around $1000.

I hired Estate Sales by Jonesy 02/2022 to do a sale March *****, 2022 in ********** ** at my parents home. I have called, emailed and texted to get a reconciliation of the items sold and my part of the funds. We did a 60 (me)/40 (them) split. The contract said 30 business days, but ****** said it may be 60 days before I received my money and reconciliation of what was sold. May 6th was 30 days and June 17th was the 60th business day. The gentleman who conducted the sale purchased a truck load of items of which I took pictures. There were other things that were sold to the other customers and all of my attempts to reach ****** have gone unanswered. Unfortunately, I didnt check the BBB website before signing the contract. Thankfully, I kept insisting on getting a copy of the contract before the sale. I just want the money and the list of items sold. I know exactly what the two gentlemen who conducted the sale purchased as I took pictures. I also know the items that were sold as I was back and forth at the house both days of the sale. I was told the building they owned was closing and they wouldnt be taking the items that didnt sell. I guess I dodged a bullet with that. Again, I just want my money and the list that if items that is promised in the contract.

I hired Jonesie Estate Sales last year and they held an estate sale in May 2021. i had to f/u multiple times to finally get the reconciliation from that sale. The stuff that didn't sell was taken to their consignment shop in Monroe for 90 days. After that time, i followed up monthly for an update with no response. I finally gave up. To this day, i have not received anything. No closure, no check, etc. I could have sold the stuff myself on FB Marketplace. Now my 3 kids get nothing from what was left of their Dad's estate. This company should not be in business, especially dealing with grieving families. Terrible service, communication & support. They made a difficult situation even more difficult for my family. DO NOT USE THEM!

After my brother passed away in January, I hired Estate Sales by Jonesy to hold an Estate Sale on March 11th and 12th at his home in Concord. My sale was coordinated by ******, who worked for the company (She has since left the company). Communication before and during the sale was good. Since the sale it has been difficult to get anyone to respond. My contract states I would receive payment from the sale within 30 business days. Once that time passed I have been emailing and calling to find out where my money is, but get no answer. On 2 occasions I did speak to someone who told me that several employees had left and has left their records in a mess. They were trying to weed through the mess and I would get payment eventually. I really felt they were giving me a standard answer and I have doubts that its true.In doing further research on this company, I have found that they have had numerous complaints of very late payment or non payment. They are still managing estate sales, so I know they are still in business. There was very little left in my brothers house after the sale, so I know most things were sold. I need to get payment and an inventory of items sold so I can report to the Clerk of Courts and close out the estate. Are you able to help me get in touch with someone at the company who can actually help me, get an inventory list of what sold and be paid the money owed to the estate? Losing a close family member is hard enough without having to deal with unprofessional and dishonest businesses.

We went to a site to find someone who does estate sales and we were contacted by ***************************** ***************. She explained the contract and after my wife and I discussed it we felt comfortable and signed a consignment contract that was suppose to last until March. We visited the store in January even though *************** told us not to go to the store because if someone was buying something of ours , she didn't want us influencing the sale, but we went and saw our furniture and collectibles there. We tried to contact them in March and could not get through. ******************* number goes to voice mail and the mailbox is full and when we called the number that was on the website and it connected us with Ellyn Estate Sales in ******* **************, she told us that the owner of the ************** store would be in contact with us by the end of the month and was surprised that we did not get a email that the store was closing at the end of March. We cannot contact anyone from the business.

These people are a complete sham. In June of 2020 ***** came to our parents property in ******* and took a pickup truck load of belongings to consign. A couple of months later in ************** we contacted Gitania in the ************* and brought her another carload of items. We have contacted them several times by phone. They have made numerous promises to follow up and get us paid. It never happens. Now they refuse to answer our calls. Its been 20 months and we have not received one ***** on the all the property they received from us.
