    I purchased a 2017 Malibu in September 2021 for ******. Loan and all is 20k. 12 hours later my check engine light comes on..I call Morganton Honda.. unfortunately they can't get me in for a week ..tell me to have my car diagnosed and they'd go from there ..well the next week they do not address the issue they fixed other things..TWO weeks later.. pick up my car light comes back on.. didn't even make it home..my car went into limp mode. Then they expect me to have it towed back...so eventually 3 to 4 days later they do tow my car..it's fixed once again...check engine light doesn't go off at all now...offered me another car...because I asked...but I my wanted to give me 13k for my car I just paid ****** for ....with higher payments...so I took it back home with me...began having more issues ..car does not wanna go when u take off...very dangerous...took it to have it checked ..this car has had an used motor put in it along with many many other problems....I am very disappointed....I have appt at ********************************* today where I must pay $80 to have car diagnosed and no telling how much more for repairs....I think they should at least have to pay for those repairs...they drug there feet with me so that I could not return the car in time to not go against my credit...so now I pay car payment and repairs? This is rediculous!

    I was the victim of atrocious price gouging. Morganton Honda targeted me by overcharging for changing power steering and transmission fluid,and an oil change. The Service Representative would come into the waiting room and whisper prices for service cost to other customers, in other words giving them a lower price for the same service, i. e., a wheel alignment, which I also had done. I have bought two Hondas from this location since April of ****, and have had my car serviced there many times. The dealship continues to change ownership, but Morganton Honda has been by far my absolute worst experience with price gouging. I will never set foot in that business establishment again.**************************.

    *****, Thank you for your feed back and speaking with us on the phone about your previous experience. It seems there are a few misunderstandings and we would like to clarify. We have thoroughly investigated this incident and have found no result of price gouging. We would like to ensure you that you were appropriately billed for the services in which you have agreed upon and it seems your concern was that it was more costly than your visit in 2018. The visit in 2018 did not consist of a 4-Wheel Alignement nor did it consist of an ************ These services, plus the increase in product costs do make up the differences that you are referring to. Upon further investigation, we did not give the other customer in the lounge a discounted ******* Alignment as suggested in your review. This person recieved the same price as it is a flat price for all customers. Furthermore, as discussed on the phone, alignments are recommended from manufacturers at least once a year and your vehicle was out of alignment during your last visit. Please know that anything we recommend can be declined at any time and can be done at your discretion as the car owner. We are here to serve you as best we can.
