      To Whom It May ************

Pertaining to the response of complaint ******** for *********************************.

********************************* purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu on 9/21/2021. This vehicle was marketed AS-IS which means the vehicle is sold to the customer as it sets with no further responsibility from the dealership to maintain or repair the vehicle. This documentation was signed by ******* at the time of delivery. ******* does show that she purchased a standard/powertrain warranty with her vehicle.

When the vehicle was initially inspected as a Used Vehicle on our lot on 7/12/21 where it received a state inspection, mount and balance of two new tires, an engine air filter, cabin filter, and wiper blades.

The vehicle was brought back in on 9/28/2021 - 10/13/2021 with a complaint of malfunction indicator light being on and rattling in the rest of the vehicle when driving. Two SBs were completed. Parts were ordered through another dealership and had to wait for parts to come in. This was done at no cost to the customer and was put in a loaner vehicle. Returned loaner vehicle in bad condition, smoked in with obvious signs of illegal substances used in the vehicle. She was not charged a cleaning fee which is normally charged to anyone who has smoked or misused a loaner vehicle.

The vehicle was returned on 10/18/21 with tow-in. The vehicle had an intercooler pipe clip that was broken and was replaced at free of charge to the customer.

Customer has not returned since this incident. But has been offered to trade in her vehicle and switch to another vehicle with a lower rate. She has contacted her sales specialist and decided to keep the vehicle.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

      Thank you,
