On 13 Jan 2023 I reached out to Mr. ********************** inquiring on painting services. We agreed on a set price to have all the ceilings painted in our house and the fix the celling tape in the seems that were peeling. The work was started on 31 Jan 2023 and completed on 2 Feb 2023. After the paint dried we noticed several missed areas and other colors on other ceilings from mixing brushes. Along with that we noticed that the fixing of the tape was done by smearing spackle (heavy amounts) over the tape and not repairing it as we spoke about. Mr. ********************** did not come back out for the repairs and sent one of his lead workers (who was a better communicator and had much more attention to detail.) The lead worker for Mr. ********************** notice that the tape should have been fixed by a sheet rock professional and that it was repaired incorrectly. The lead worker reached out to Mr. ********************** to convey the issue and figure out how to get a sheet rocker out there and fix the issue so the celling could be re-painted. All of this was to be done not to exceed the original contract price. I paid 1/3 of the bill prior to completion in good faith. I never heard from Mr. ********************** via Phone, E-mail or letter that he was going to fix this I reached out via phone call in early Feb 2023 with no answer. The next time I heard from him was 14 May 2023 stating "I need payment, I'll have to file charges if not paid soon." I have moved past this situation and do not want this company in my house or anywhere past the front gate as I do not have trust in them nor feel safe after being threatened charges.Business response

I have tried to reach out to this customer multiple times via phone and text to resolve this issue with no response from him. He had multiple colors for ceilings that required two coats of paint which was paid for by me. I contacted a drywall professional as well to repair joints in Sheetrock and the customer did not respond. I have lost money on this job and have not been able to communicate with the customer to resolve the issue as a result of him not returning my calls or emails. I have been a painting g professional for many years.

I am rejecting this response because: I received threatening text saying he was going to file charges. Also I paid a portion of the original agreed price and the paint that was used to to multiple coats was the bathroom and I supplied that paint. He had to come back twice to fix messed up celling.
