This is one of the worse company anyone can be with. I am highly unsatisfied they dont ever answer the phone, text, emails nothing. It was time for me to renew my lease and they sent me the offer I accepted and then it said wait for the lease renewal document. I called and emailed everyday for a month and no response. I had to go and find me another house before my lease date was up fearing I wouldnt even have a place to stay! I log onto my portal and I see Im charged for the whole month but my lease ended on the 6. All the while they still havent responded after I expressed Im moving out to them through email. Im just now waiting for the eviction notice to take this to court. Amongst other issues like loosing my payment and stuff. I am looking for a response from them before I take further legal action.Review from Waltter Teruel t

I lived in the property for 2 years , paid my final balance . Left the house spotless clean , did exactly what they told me as far as move out procedure . My move-out document was completed with no damage. They have not given me my security deposit and when I asked about it they told me they would get back to me and never once have I received a response about why i have not received my deposit with a clear apartment and no damage . I even moved out before the time and provided documentation. They just are unprofessional. Everytime you call no one answers. I would never recommend this to anyoneReview from Nashira M M

I've been a day 1 tenant with *************** in **********, ** and I am beyond unsatisfied with the property management team from in the office to the regional level. The infrastructure is so poor that a pipe burst on Christmas Eve, leaving residents without running water until 5pm Christmas Day last year. Water was pouring from the roof of building 3 to the first floor for hours. Management didn't leave an emergency maintenance feature on the phoneline that day. I was personally calling the ****************** for assistance. They also condone inappropriate levels of noise and domestic violence during quiet hours. I complained for an entire year about my neighbors and their domestic violent disputes and they all agreed it was unacceptable. In the end, they said it was "typical apartment noise" despite me having recordings and timestamps of multiple instances. I could literally hear every word of their vulgar arguments which could be poor construction but still their responsibility, per the lease agreement, which they failed to honor and acknowledge. I told the office the neighbors fighting triggers my PTSD, I told them it's unhealthy for me to not sleep through the night on a regular basis - only to basically be told to just deal with it. The person that holds the regional position and she seemed helpful initially but after I spoke with her once, she ghosted me completely. Management made me feel like I was the problem and it's wildly offensive considering the ****** manner they manage their property and tenants. The lease lists quiet hours and states obnoxious noise is prohibited and the responsibility of the property management company to resolve. The regional person and owners leave positive ****** reviews for their own properties to make it seem like a better place to live. I've never experienced anything like this. I pay my rent in full and on time and I'm left with frustrated with no solution.Review from Rakhshanda S

At first the staff were amazing! We were super excited to move in but after speaking the apartment manager she was rude, condescending, disrespectful and she lied to us. She even mentioned that my husband and I may get divorced so they'll need my income even though he makes over 6 figures. She challenged him on how heavy our pets were. She responded "yea yea yea" when I explained to her that I had submitted my ID during the application process. I have NEVER been spoken to the way I was by an individual. She was extremely unprofessional and rude. We were actually approved to live in the apartments and were provided a lease but she stated that she doesn't know when we can move in based on her auditing our file. I feel so disrespected and angry by the entire experience and I would not recommend ANY one rent for them. The initial staff were extremely nice but you can tell the work culture is toxic. She ruined our experience which is why we decided to change our minds.Review from Gregory L

I rented an apartment at the vine community in Arlington TX with my girlfriend last year from another company. About 4-5 months before the lease ended, Cushman & Wakefield bought the property. We had been having a few issues with the current property management so we hoped that things would get better (washer and dryer that were supposed to be in our unit from day one never came after 12 months even though managers of both told us they would handle it). Everything was relatively smooth as time went on and we did not notice a big change. That is, until we moved out. We extended our move out date one week while our new place was getting ready and knew we would need to pay for the extra week at a slightly higher rate proportional to the monthly rent. We cleaned the apartment and i turned in the keys. The ladies at the office took the keys and said I will receive an itemized invoice for the final balance in about a week. Before i left, one of them asked if I had paid a security deposit. I told her I do not believe I had, but that we would have to look to be sure. Fast forward a week and I open our online portal and see a balance of over $609 due. This seemed high due to our total monthly cost being around $1369 with utilities, so I emailed them asking for a call so they can explain it to me. Three days later I go back to the portal and it says I owe $1,163! I call and am able to get ahold of someone and they saif the $609 was just utilities and rent and that they were charging another $500+ in fees including late fees for the last 3 days. I was told in this conversation they would send me a copy of my lease, itemized invoice, and a signed agreement I supposedly made to pay $300 for carpet cleaning upon move out since she said it was not in my lease. She told me this was getting sent to collections and they will hurt my credit. I have emailed and called everyday for over a week trying to get this sorted out and have not had a single response. This is in regards to shady move-out ‘damages’ sent via email 3 months after my daughter moved out of ******** ******** at ****** ***** Ph II (in Plano) under Cushman & Wakefield. My daughter moved out of her apartment on 2/27/22 (I’m the co-signer on the lease). On 6/6/22 we received a notification that we owed $367 in 'damages'. Along with the email were photographs of the empty apartment - fingerprints on a mirror, empty trash can, uncleaned stove (we paid for an extensive cleaning package $260), pictures of carpet, countertops, etc. There was NO mention of specific issues with said photos. She moved into the apartment Feb. 2020 and the carpet was new at that point in time. I asked for ******** to send me an itemized list of ‘damages’ – they sent pictures of the carpet and depreciated value of the carpet in a later email (how does this relate to the first email with all the non-carpet related photos?). There are no major stains and from the photos they provided, it’s in good condition. I called to inquire about this since the landlord is way beyond the 30 days that Texas requires to inform a tenant of ‘damages’. {Side note: - No security deposit was collected in Feb. 2020 – this is weird too} Also, landlords are not allowed to charge for everyday ‘wear & tear’ on carpet – yet this is what is happening. I called and they indicated that they sent a notice to the address left by my daughter (which is my address out of state). I never received anything from them so they blamed the post office. After disputing these charges ******** Management told me that I needed to dispute the charges with their collection service but the email that was sent had a link to ‘pay’ but no other options to contact the collection portal. We reluctantly paid the $367 for the 2 years of carpet ‘usage’ because we didn’t want to impact my daughter's credit. We feel this is a huge scam and that renters need to know about this business.Cushman & Wakefield Response

Currently residing in a safe community. However just had an experience with an employee who is usually pleasant but was having a bad morning. ********, Tx
Our front lounge/office provides snacks for guests in the lounge-need I add.
This front "attendant"/ employee expected me to pick up off the floor and mop the used premises. Was rude, as per children and I manually clean up after ourselves to the best of our abilities (and any other normal human kind). Worst experience, two toddlers present during managers confrontation with guest (me) aka tenant.
Her sorry complaint was a water bottle, crumbs and juice spilled.
Addressed the juice and clarified we spilled soda AND cleaned it up with paper towels to the best of our ability (partial soda spilled)
Crumbs ?? C'mon, Wakefield
I do apologize for leaving a water bottler behind. Having two toddlers is no excuse for me.
Thank you.Review from Shayan R

The property management at ************, TX has been a nightmare to deal with. C&W needs to get their act together and hire more competent people that can take care of the business. When I have a convent the front desk assistant do almost nothing to Solve the issue. One of them showed me a timeout hand gesture to tell me she is on break and can't assist me while I was furious about the situation that was caused by their ignorance.Cushman & Wakefield Response
