I ordered a Kayak from an online business, BackCounty on November 30 2022. I paid $2265.00 including $200 for shipping from VA. They told me it was sitting in their warehouse in VA so getting it would not be delayed. I'm not sure if my complaint should be the shipping company or the retailer or both. Supposedly it was picked up at the ******** Airport which is already a contradiction and was in the CEVA ******** Warehouse on December 5th and expected delivery was on the 9th so I took off work and sat all day with no news. The newest info on the CEVA tracking site is it arrived in Raleigh on the 8th of December. Also, I need to contact then regarding scheduling. My 1st notice said they would contact me day before delivery. I've tried multiple days to contact them only they do not pick up on the phone, there is no voice mail to leave a message and I can't email them because they say my email is invalid when I try to feel out the form. I hoped I could reach them and tell them I would happily pick it up at the warehouse myself but I should not have to pay $200 shipping if I have to drive 2 hours to pick it up. Mute point because I cant reach them in anyway. The latest tracking data says I leave in a remote location, *** ****. Also, CEVA has a warehouse in ********** only an hour away. The company I bought it from says it is out of their hands when it leaves their warehouse and they have no interest in following up with the freight company. I have called them 3 times. I am so angry I can't even get a refund without it being a manufactoring flaw or damaged product or I not only have to pay the $200.00 shipping fee to get it here but the return fee also. I’m a disabled veteran, I purchased a hot tub hoping to get some relief for my lower back pain. This item was supposed to be delivered today (11/23/22) from 10am-4pm no call, no show. No answer from their office. No email messages either. My wife took a day off from work since they said someone had to be home. I have not been able to reach anyone at the actual office in ***********, NC. I was able to get ahold of the National call center, which of course can’t do much besides annotate the problem.Initial Complaint

The company will not respond to my requests for communication and eventual begging for a phone call for 9 days. I'm remodeling my home. I ordered a vanity through ******* The company quickly contracted to have the vanity picked up and delivered by CEVA Logistics. I tracked my shipment online. On 10/20 the CEVA website showed the shipment had arrived at the local center in ***********, NC. I awaited notification to schedule a delivery. I heard nothing by 10/25. I repeatedly attempted to call the company at the phone # listed online. There was no answer and there is no way to leave a verbal message. I found a form online to use to communicate with the company. I explained that I'm disabled and have to hire a moving company to move the delivery from my driveway to my 2nd floor. I also had 2 other deliveries coming that I needed to coordinate with their delivery so I only had to hire the mover once. The form states I will receive communication from the company within 24 hours. I heard nothing via phone, email or text. I continued to call and again sent in another form request for communication from them. It's been 9 days and I've submitted numerous forms requesting communication with my last one requesting "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CALL ME...". On 10/26 the tracking information showed changes. Instead of arriving in *********** on 10/20 it now shows specific locations where shipment was logged in and out of the different facilities resulting in delivery to Raleigh on 10/26. I have no idea which, if either, sets of data shown is correct. But other than the fact that it's grossly untruthful it's really immaterial which arrival date is true. The problem is that I have been begging for information so I can let the movers know. My 2 deliveries (tile) have been sitting in my driveway now for 4 days and I still know nothing about my CEVA delivery! I've contacted Lowe's and opened a case, but I have a 3 day timeframe to hear back from it.
