This company was CONTRACTED by ***. I placed a call on 9/12/22 with *** for a battery jump since my car at my house wouldn't start. On-Time Roadside Assistance sent a person (*********) in a car, who stated that he had tried to reach me multiple times by phone (no text attempt or knock on door) and closed the ticket. I inquired with *** about this, and they offered to re-open the ticket. When he finally got to my house, he called me and said "I'm here." He actually was two townhouses up from me (incorrect address) and I had him move to my address. He jumped the battery and the car started. He stated that he didn't have the equipment to determine if I needed a new battery but had one in his car if I wanted to purchase one. He mentioned something about the "cold amps" being low, which start the battery. At first I declined, but then decided to get the new battery since I was going out of town soon and didn't want to be stranded on the side of the road. He installed the new battery, I paid him $203.76, and he left (around 4:30 pm). The next morning when I started my car, ALL OF MY ELECTRONICS WERE NOT WORKING (including the radio, gps system and the dashboard). I went to two Honda dealerships, and nobody knew what the problem was, but ultimately they had to do an electronic diagnostic test, which cost me $116.20 and then they had to replace the radio, which cost me $540.05. After *** took forever to give me an answer about their responsibility, they ultimately told me that On-Time Road Assistance was responsible, not *** and that I should contact ******** ********, which I did. He stated that I should have contacted him immediately and that now he couldn't help me. That is a false statement that I should have contacted him immediately because I contracted with *** and THEY contracted with On-Time Road Assistance. All of my electronics were working fine in my 2019 Honda CRV before ********* touched it!!! Yet, no one wants to take responsibility for the damage of my car.
