In early March 2024, we purchased a 19x20 shed from a company called Lion Buildings - based out of **********, **************. The total cost was roughly $8000. The company supplies the materials, but they use a subcontracting company called New Era. It didn't take long for them to install the shed; however, there were SEVERAL issues with the installation. First, they bolted the shed to the concrete crooked. Secondly, they did not seal the shed - which is supposed to be waterproof. We did not realize that it wasn't sealed properly until 4 days after installation when it began raining. We immediately called the company the next day after noticing all of the water streaming down the inside walls as well as under 2 of 4 sides of the shed. Well, 2 months later, we are STILL waiting for the company to come back to repair and seal the shed. We have lost furniture, a portable heater, wedding gifts and other items from waterlog damage. In addition, mold has destroyed clothing, bedding and pillows. We have called Lion Buildings and New Era over and over and over and over - only to be lied to every time. We DEMAND compensation for all that we have lost!!! I'm sure the company will lie and try to falsely say they're doing their best - we've read the other reviews as well. All of the other negative reviews and complaints against these companies are 100% TRUE!Business response

Dear *******************,
We deeply regret the inconvenience you experienced with the building installation. Upon reviewing the matter, it has become evident that Lion Buildings, the seller, is not responsible for the installation process, which falls under the purview of New Era, the contracted installers, as clearly stipulated in the attached signed contracts.
Lion Buildings fulfilled its obligations by promptly documenting and reporting the encountered issues. However, it's important to clarify that the responsibility for repairs rests with New Era, the external contractors entrusted with the installation.
Enclosed with this correspondence are comprehensive documentation, including emails, demonstrating our proactive efforts in notifying New Era about the repair issues. We have diligently executed our role in the process.
According to our records, the necessary steps have been taken to address the situation promptly.
Please feel free to reach out if further assistance is required.Business response

I purchased a metal building from new era december of 2020. They responded only because they knew id be spending money with them. They deliver the building out to me. I get my guy to pour my concrete for it and contacted new era to come back out and install it. He told me it would be 5 weeks. So i waited 5 weeks and he would never let me know anything. I called him and he said he was looking around to get a crew out to me. 2 weeks go by and still nothing. I called him again. Said he was still looking a crew. 2 more weeks go by and i was already aggravated. I then found someone of my own to come install it and had to pay dearly for it because i didnt purchase a building from this guy. So now im trying to get inspection done and i need stamped plans to get my inspection. I message new era again and they said engineer would be in the following week on Tuesday or Wednesday to stamp them and email to me. I said okay. I wait until Thursday and i message the new era again and of course, no response. Couple days go by snd i message again and he said he would find out when he got to the office. Didnt hear back from him. So then i message back the next day. Wouldnt message me back. Now im to the point i need someones help because i have this building up and cant even get it inspected. Please help!
