      This company is a subcontractor for **** ****** and was brought in to dig the line for permanent power. We called in locate services to identify where the lines are (811) the worker damaged the sewer line and when reaching out to the company the claims specialist "Christina B***** requested "Pre-dig" photos although we called in the service that marks the lines and provided evidence for that as well as found out they also called in locate services to locate the same lines. I have tried to work with Christina to get this issue resolved. I have never experienced customer service like this in a professional setting from a subcontractor. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told by her and another colleague that they don't have a manager so I'm forced to just be settled with this incident. Never have I had to go through so many hoops to get a resolution behind a matter that clearly proves we followed the necessary measures to prevent an incident from occurring at all. Being told that they didn't have a manager and, that I couldn't speak with a superior was the most unprofessional thing I have experienced in a while. While they admitted to calling in and having the lines located they claim it is on us to prove we are not at fault more than we already have. I question the integrity of this company and their employees now when they also followed the same procedures and still hit the line. This situation has been extremely disappointing and unsettling.

      Pike Electric came to remove the electric pole between my house and my neighbors house. --they were contracted by FPL to do so. After the power was turned off by Pike and they did their work they went to connect the power back up and when they did this the modem/router in my house got fried. At the same exact time, the circuit breaker to my water heater tripped. I alerted the Pike men who were at the job site what had happened. They were only concerned about the three hour drive back home and didn't have time to discuss with me. I have asked Pike to do the right thing and reimburse me for the modem/router and the cost of the technician to install a new modem/router and after repeated request they absolutely refuse to make it right stating that they checked and there was not a surge. There may not have been a huge surge but there was something that was not done correctly to have caused the damage. I have asked them to explain how the modem/router blew up and how my circuit breakers tripped and they refuse to explain how this could happen. Very unprofessional on Pike and FPL for not owning up to the damage at my house.

      Pike investigated the claim and even had Florida Power & Light (FPL) pull surge reports, however FPL advised that based on their smart meter technology data reports, no evidence exists of a surge taking place at the time of the Pike crew visit therefore Pike sent out a denial letter of Ms. ******** claim.

      Once Again, Pike - please give me your explanation on the above questions. You checked one thing, the data reports. What about human error? Did you talk to the crew and go over the procedures and any mistakes that might have taken place? Did you do any other investigation????
