My fiancé ****** *****, purchased a 2021 blue scooter from Papa Scooters on April 19th of 2022. The scooter is 1,400 dollars and we put a down payment of 700 dollars. Upon bringing it home about 9 hours later my fiancé called me because the scooter shut off in the middle of the road. Myself and his uncle had to go find him and help him get the scooter started, a few days later we took it back to Papa scooters and he said they put new spark plugs and a new calibrator on it. This same day, it shut off again in the middle of the road. My fiancé again, had to call me so his uncle and I could help him get it started. Once we got it started, we got it back home. The next day we took it to Papa scooters again, the only thing they did was put a new gas cap on it despite us telling them about it shutting off. Now on May 7th, 2022 after getting the scooter back on May 5th, it won't even start. We've tried calling to explain what's going on and the owner tells us every time we need to bring it back in. We do have a 6 month warranty but my fiancé has driven this scooter a total of 5-6 times after having this scooter for almost a month because it keeps breaking down. We need help getting them to actually repair it and look into it instead of just replacing a gas cap. A loose gas cap (which it was not loose) does not explain a scooter shutting down on the road while going 40mph. We asked about a refund and they said sure but we won't receive our full amount back. We don't want a refund or anything we just want it to be fixed and not have to go back there ever again. I can provide all dates and receipts, I will be going to the business on 5/9/2022 to get all of them. I have videos as well to show what is going on with the scooter.Business response

This is papa scooters returning a message back to a complaint filed on our business the customer brung back the scooter several times after purchasing complaining about it we tryed to fix the issues for him but couldn’t find any problems he continued to come to our business and was very rude and cussing us we returned his money to him that he payed for the scooter and he returned the scooter and he was happy with that Sent from my iPhone
