      I purchased a Route 66 neon sign. This was a mass produced non-customized design. The Jantec sign was $125 more expensive than the identical Chinese made signs available on E-Bay. I chose Jantec because I wanted to support an American company, I thought the quality would be superior, and I'd get better customer service from Jantec if there was a problem. Buying from Jantec was a huge costly MISTAKE. My sign was cheaply & poorly constructed. They fused together a bunch of small glass tubing scraps instead of using new longer pieces. Each fused spot is thicker glass than the rest of the tube. This means there is visibly obvious less neon gas in those spots. It's instantly noticeable when turned on & a big distraction which ruins what should be clean neon lines. It's also more (blatantly unnecessary) spots for the glass to fail & for the neon to leak out, which is a costly repair. I promptly contacted Jantec. They could not have possibly cared less; they were incredibly dismissive, not to mention downright rude. I took photos of the damage but customer service wasn't interested. They told me if it lights up, it's fine. That's apparently the sole criteria. Anything else was me being "picky." I would need to transport it to a shipping company & pay well over a hundred dollars to ship it back - all on my time and at my own expense. They would send me a new one which I would have to pay for shipping (a 3rd time) with no guarantee it would be of better quality. I was told they were not responsible for (what I deemed) poor workmanship and poor quality construction. I paid an extra $125 for this??? The only way it could have been of worse quality is if it didn't light up. One of my worst customer service experiences ever. Save your money and buy from somewhere else- a different US company or even China. Jantec only cares about profit; they do not care about providing a quality product or about customer service. They got my money and that's when they stopped caring.

      Dear Customer So since the yellow zip tie was cut that voids our shipping warranty. And with the power cord being messed with and stripped down we no longer can offer a warranty on the sign. So we will need you to pay for the shipping to get the sign back to us and the repair cost to fix the sign as well. to Jantec I find it horrible the way you are handling this situation Dillon. Aside from my other businesses that I own, internet reputation and handling happens to be one of them. I will gladly let any future and current customer that purchases any item from Jantec reads the email you sent me. It is obvious that it is next to impossible to recognize such a shipping flaw before attempting to install. Based on this it is only fair that everyone beware what they are dealing with when doing business with you.

      We are very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your experience. All of our neon signs are carefully packaged and shipped out in a 2 box packaging system to ensure that they are not broken during the delivery process. There is a very large sticker affixed onto the inner sign box which clearly states that the sign should be plugged in and tested within 24 hours of delivery to confirm that the sign arrived in working condition. All of our neon signs are packaged and delivered so that they can be plugged in and tested without cutting the zip tie and removing them from the inner box. If the sign does not light up properly when plugged in, we instruct customers to call us immediately to report the issue, and under our Shipping Guarantee, we then take care of ALL cost to have the sign returned to us, repaired or replaced, and then re-shipped back out to the customer. When your sign problem was first reported to us, the pictures that you sent to us showed that the zip tie securing the sign to the inner box had been cut, and the sign in question had been already been removed from the inner box. It was also clear that the plug in for the power supply has been cut off for some reason. Unfortunately, once the zip tie has been cut and the sign has been removed from the inner box, the sign can no longer be covered under our Shipping Guarantee. Your indoor sign is designed to be plugged directly into a standard outlet, so by cutting the power cord, the 1 year warranty on the power supply is also void. We will gladly cover the repair cost to replace any damaged neon tubing on your sign; however, we are unable to test and re-ship the sign without replacing the power supply with a new one, due to the plug in being cut off.
