I was unhappy with the sights on a *********** ******** pistol so I took the firearm to ****, Owner of Tommy Guns USA. I asked him to do two things. Replace the sights with a set of ***** adjustable sights, and set the trigger to 4 pounds pull. He told me the rear dovetail would need to be "remilled" and he'd order the *******. After he checked the gun he said I needed a new bushing. I agreed as long as the new part did not alter the pistol at all. The gun is shooting great and I wanted the ability to swap out the part if I had any issues with the new bushing. He said that wasn't a problem. After paying him $374.59 for the work, I take the pistol out to test. The results were horrible. The trigger was far too light to be safe, (I had to change that), the rear sight was adjusted all the way down and the pistol was still shooting high at 25 yards. I tried the old bushing to see if this was the problem, and found out the pistol was now inaccurate with the old part. So all three thing he did were poorly done. He did offer to "guarantee" his work, but I felt he did such bad work I can not longer trust him not to make it worse. And his responses to any contact got more vulgar, angry and offensive including a vulgar video and the reply to the other ******* report. (attached) I took the firearm to a local gunsmith, (copy attached) and he said there was nothing he could do about the sights because the rear dovetail was milled crooked. Making the firearm permanently ruined. He also advised me that the sights were not *****, but from a company called *** sights. I am seeking compensation for the cost so far to me. I can provide receipts for cost.Cost to me was:$804.35 for the pistol.$35 transfer fee $374.59 charged by *************************** $1,213.94 total cost
