We contracted Grammer Builders in 2018 to build a new house for us. Tear down of the old house began in November 2019 and the house completed in October 2020 with our final payment to the builder in December 2020. The agreement was all items were warranted for 1 year. However, since our final payment with the builder he has been completely unresponsive to any follow-up warranty requests. We reported an issue with a door not closing in the sure if 2021. Finally, in late December 2021 we were able to get the builder to reply and come try to repair the problem. He came out but needed extra help to fixed the problem and said he'd take care of it. It is now April 2022 and the builder just always replies he's too busy to address the issue and never commits to return to fix / finish the work. Discussions with others for him he has done work indicates a pattern that once he's paid he never follows back up. We'd like for him to honor the warranty agreement and to fix this repair item, and another we didn't report because he never replies. We've even offered to pay some of his crew to fix the problem in their off hours but to date the builder* ****** *******, still hasn't acknowledged that request.
