JBC Mobile Home transport agreed to move a Mobile Home from ********** NC to ************** NC for a price of $6,800 and a extra $850 to rent a machine to move mobile homes that are in a tight spot as mine was from what he seen from the pictures I sent him. ******** asked for $5,000 cash deposit which I thought was to high, I said no and we agreed to a $3,500 deposit. I paid him $3,500 in cash as he asked for to cover deposit, inspection of property to make sure he could move it and if so to start on mobile home and that amount would come off total of $6,800. They spent 3 hours at my Mobile Home half way unhooking siding, and electric wires then they left after I met and gave them the deposit of $3,500 they never came back to property after that day. They made excuses that they came back but couldn't move home and for there work and time I couldn't receive no part of my deposit back when I asked for it. I even told them just take what you think your time and work was worth and give me the rest back. ******** said I'm not getting none of my deposit back and they did $3,500 worth of work and also made racial slurs. All they did was remove siding on side of mobile home, unhook the latch holding mobile home down and left sewer halfway removed. I even asked another bonded mobile home mover to check behind them and he said the same. (You be had. There is no way they did $3,500 worth of work. They didn't do nothing worth more then a couple hundred dollars.) They didn't put mobile home on any jacks, they didn't move mobile home to prepare it to be hauled away or wrap home with plastic. Mobile Home is still in same condition as it was when I hire them. On top of this ******** wouldn't give me his license number and made more racial slurs and compared me to a Mexican he recently did a job for and had problems with. Said I'm just like one of those or one of those type. The slurs went on and one into I just decided its not worth it, so I'm reporting this business.

Contracted over the phone with witness to conversations. Was asked to bring $6500 for them to start job and haul porch, they delivered porch and said they needed $250 more which I gave because I was afraid they would not haul my mobile home which they didn't anyway , then my balance for porch and mobile home would be $2800. They tore up neighboring yards, mistreated land owner, left huge mess . Verbally abusive to me when I asked "if" they were going to finish the job and take the mobile home to same location porch is sitting. I am requesting the $250 I gave in fear and $2500 to be refunded.

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2021/09/01) */ Contact Name and Title: ************ Jbc transpor Contact Phone: ********** Contact Email: ***************** We were contacted by ************* to give her a price to move her mobile home and room addition roughly 60 miles. We talked and gave her a quote and arranged a day to start. Once we got to her house we seen a couple things that were going to affect the price we quoted her so we called her and she met us out there and we went over everything that needed to be done. For one being the room addition had to be moved first before the mobile home as well as the roof on the room addition was too wide to legally be moved down the road and would have to be cut. We gave her the new price on just the room addition that we have a signed contract on for moving just the room addition. The room addition was moved to her new location which safely as we even added extra supports to insure it made it there safe. Which I have pictures of it sitting in her new lot. As far as her mobile home we had not even started that. The price she paid was strictly for the room addition. The realtor that she purchased the home from contacted us and informed us that ******** was very rude with her and told us that she was getting the debris removed that ********* told her it was her responsibility. The owner of the land the home is on was very particular and did not want his land messed up and said no other mobile home has been moved from the lots they had all been torn down after we removed the room addition and looked further into how to get the mobile home of the land. And we did not mess up any land. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2021/09/01) */ The contract was not fulfilled. It does not cost $6750 to move the deck they moved, that I am now selling due to not having the home moved to same location. The broker is lying because she was also told by the land owner NOT TO RETURN. I will contact attorney general after labor day and file suit if need be.. Lying won't work when I have proof I need. Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2021/09/02) */ The customer was aware of the total charge to move just the room addition before we had started any work. ******** met us out there to go over exactly what needed to be done to get the room addition disconnected from the mobile home and lowered on a rented frame and moved to her new location. If she was not happy with the price at that time why were we paid? She knew at that point before we started any work that that price was to move move the room addition to her new lot. That's all. As we even told her when she came out to the property it was located at that she did not owe us a penny and she did not have to get us to do it but that was the price and she said do it and signed our paper with the price and what we were doing. And again no damage was done to the room addition as we even waited a few days because the roof of the building had to be taking off to disconnect it from the mobile home and it was calling for rain so we waited before doing so so nothing got damaged. Point blank period she was happy untill she found out the owner of the land the home is located on didn't want to tear up any of his property removing the mobile home and we told her the things we was letting us know and we told ******** we Honastly did not know how to get the mobile home out. We moved the room addition which she paid for and was complete. The mobile home which she did not pay for we did not touch. What she paid us was strictly for the room addition and the balance was for the mobile home
