We have been loyal customers of Chimneys Plus in *********, ** for over 20 years. Three years ago, after having trouble finding dry wood during the pandemic, we converted over to a propane fireplace and decided to go with Chimneys Plus since they had been servicing our needs for many years. As this fall/winter season began (2023), we began to have trouble getting the pilot light and fireplace to light. The day after Thanksgiving we, once again, could not get it started. We called Chimneys Plus. They received our call and desperate request. This is our form of heat. Instead of calling or sending someone to fix the problem, they left an email saying they would get back to us on Monday. So we know they knew Friday morning that we had a problem, but they chose to blow us off. If they treat long-term customers this way, I wonder how they would treat new customers. Beware who you hire to do your fireplace work. I would not recommend Chimneys Plus to anyone right now. The bottom line----poor customer service. Shop around.Business response

I'm sorry that you were impacted by the fireplace not functioning over the holiday. That must have been frustrating. The earliest we were capable of assisting to fix the fireplace was on Monday when the staff returned to work. Our staff was off for the holiday and did not return to the office until then. We worked to secure a technician to go to the house to diagnose and address the issue. He was able to resolve the issue with the fireplace that very same day.
