Don't use this company! The owner/contractor, *****************************, uses several company names, Toolsman & Truck, or Awesome Appliance Repair, or Awesum Appliance Repair. No matter which one it is, don't use it. I hired him to repair my dryer; it was no longer producing heat. So, I went through **** and got several company names. He called me shortly after. He initially scheduled to arrive on a Monday, between noon and 2:00, but at 1:35, he texted me and said he ran into issues and couldn't make it, so we rescheduled for 8:00-10:00 the next day. On Tuesday, he came and replaced the heater coil. At that point, I thought that the repair was completed, though I actually had to ask him to reattach the vent hose before he left. At that time, I asked him whether there was a warranty for the work that he did. He said that if there were any problems within the next 90 days, to call him.Three days (and three wash loads) later, the dryer stopped producing heat again. I don't know if it was a substandard part of whether there were issues the installation of the part, or if there is some other issue within the dryer that ******* didn't diagnose when he was doing the repair. Either way, there was no more heat. So, at 3:00 on Friday, I texted him to let him know that the dryer was not working any longer. He texted back on Monday that he'd come by to look at it. That was the last time I heard anything from him.I tried calling him, but would immediately go to voicemail. I know his phone was working, however, because I had a friend call him. He immediately answered their call, but they said they didn't need his service. Since that time, he's avoided their follow-up calls as well.I've always tried to support small independent businesses whenever possible, but in this case, my strong advice is STAY AWAY!! I'm sure there are plenty of times where he was able to fix someone's appliance, but don't count on him to stand by his work.
