Sept. 2021 I received a post card at my current address by a bail bondsman who is searching for a relative. I immediately called the bondsman and informed him that this person DOES NOT nor has he EVER lived at my new address. I asked the bondsman how did he get my new address. He stated off the register of deeds website. I told him that I moved to my current address in 2017 and the person he is looking for moved back to NY in 2012. I was completely transparent with this man. Even offered for this man to search my home because I did not want it to escalate as it has. Now, there are people from his office coming into my subdivision handing 'wanted' postcards providing my address as the place of residency which is false. This is harassment and I need it to end. He has no reason or right to harass us. My name is not on any paperwork in regards to this incident. I understand he looking for someone but he is looking in the WRONG place. This is to fall under inappropriate business practice.

      Business response

      11/02/2021

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/20) */ In response to complaint lodged by ************** - ************, I *************, confirm that ********* called me and appeared to raise threat related to me for my attempts to locate a nephew of hers that is a fugitive from justice in the state of New York & North Carolina of which I am obligated in the amount of two hundred thousand dollars in bail bonds. In attempting to locate him with information that he has or is located at ******************************. Which ties back to his Aunt ************** that resides at the address. **************** Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/10/21) */ I am going on 48 years old, with several medical conditions which I am trying to recover from. I use crutches and a walker to ambulate. What "threat" did I raise? In fact, *********** thanked me for calling and said I was the only person who reached out to him responding to his postcard. I never "threatened" *********** at anytime of our recorded conversation. Please submit our recorded call for evidence to show the "threat." There is also no evidence to suspect that any fugitive ever lived here as well on ***********'s part. *********** has ZERO evidence that a fugitive ever lived at ***********; not a mail correspondence, ID, last residence in the system, nothing. He looked up the Register of Deeds to track my new address (which can be proven on his recorded line). I called *********** out of pure concern and curiosity as to how he retrieved my address. He informed me from the Registers of Deed and admitted that he knows the fugitive is living in New York, which can also be proven. *********** is a dangerous man "serving" the public by using unethical and unsafe practices. He is abusing the law, chasing those who have done the same, which makes him no different. He is strategically using terms such as "threat" intently orchestrating another **************** tragedy to occur over a lie out of desperacy to find a fugitive whom he has NO documents to show ever living here. *********** is not suppose to harass anyone who has no contractual vestment in the said fugitive's bail. I signed no paperwork for this bail and i was unaware of this said fugitive's misfortunes on the day of his arrest. On the other hand, I have evidence of ***********'s unethical practices; approaching minors asking them for their numbers, providing false information to create a dangerous situation for my family and other honest, hard working African American males in a predominately Caucasian neighborhood, so when he uses the word 'threat," it is his way to use excessive force, in this case, a lie, to cause harm without ramifications. This is inexcusable. I will continue to collect evidence of ***********'s unethical behaviors and will be more than willing to furnish what I have per your request. As, I stated, *********** has no evidence that a fugitive ever lived at my new residence nor did I sign for the bail of the fugitive. He has no right providing the public with my address. The only "threat" is the one he falsely created towards my family. I have been taking my girls to school everyday because they are in fear of being approached by this man. A man who is supposed to uphold the law, not lie to break them. Ironic. He has no evidence.
