            I hired ******************* to put a $24,000 roof on my home and several other buildings. My roof is leaking, now, and he wont respond. I hired someone tol look at my roof, and they found many problems. He took pictures, and sent them to me.Since I am a 66 year old single woman, I have to rely on others to tell me what is wrong.The first problem was that the roofers roofed over a large open area on *******. Now, the flashing is coming up, many shingles are not nailed down, and among other things, the leak is causing the soffit to detach from my home.

            This is one of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of working with. It's amazing how things changed once my roof was complete. Despite my persistent efforts to address issues with waving on my roof, it took over a year to get someone out, and the promised follow-up never occurred.After reaching out in 2022, it wasn't until June 2023 that **** came out to see my roof, which was installed in November 2021. ******************* assured me that he would personally contact a subcontractor to follow up, but that commitment was never fulfilled. Subsequent monthly attempts to contact the company yielded no response until December 2023 when I learned through a phone call from ****, from a number that couldn't be called back, that the business was closing.I am dismayed by the lack of accountability displayed, in particular by ****, who shifted blame throughout this process. The decision to close a business doesn't happen overnight, yet promises were made without regard for their fulfillment.I strongly advise against engaging with any company associated with Modern Roofers, particularly those connected to *******************.
