      on July 19, 2022 I contacted A Value driving school and explained my plans to get my north carolina driver's license. Mr ***** answered my call and we made a plan to do 10 one hour driving lessons. My 1st day of getting a lesson was on July 20th on which before i did any driving Mr. ***** collected from me a payment of $549.00 via personal check and hand wrote a receipt. I asked Mr. ***** that day to try and schedule my lessons within the next two weeks as i had taken vacation time to attempt to get my license as soon as possible. Upon receiving my 1st lesson that very 1st day i noticed Mr. ***** had made a deposit of my check for the 10 lessons. I found that strange within just 2 or 3 hours of giving him the check but i left that alone. Upon the 1st lesson i would contact Mr. ***** by phone to remind him i was open to lessons any time of the day including weekends. I did not get another lesson until july 29th, 2022. He made it impossible and difficult to meet my schedule and i suggested weekends but he said they did not operate weekends, only Monday thru Friday. By the time my two week vacation was over i had only received two lessons. I insisted that we try to complete these lessons as soon as possible and he ended up scheduling me at 7:00 am. One hour before i would begin my work day. Which quite honestly was very inconvenient. If i knew then by i began to see as a very irresponsible business practice, that would do as they pleased i would have never paid in advanced for 10 lessons. I ended up receiving 5 lessons by Mr. ***** which is also the person I only dealt with the entire time until one day he sends another man stating he would take over, he gave me two lessons weekends which was odd to me since Mr. ***** had stated they did not operate weekends. I am not quite sure if this man by the name of ****** **** was even employed by "A Value Driving School". In the end as i patiently waited to complete all my lessons Mr. ***** reaches out to me via phone and tells me he would not be able to ful-fill his obligations and he would gladly send me a check to compensate for not completing my lessons. He asked me to text him my name and address and they would gladly send me a check in the mail. This was in October 8th of 2022. I reached out again to Mr. ***** via text on Dec 31 at 11:05 am to no response. I would like to request that this company gives me a full refund for not complying with our agreement and for making this experience extremely exhausting and uncomfortable to deal with. I ended up reaching out to another company which I will not mention here but at least were professional and courteous. please help me get a refund as I tried to reach out and there is no response or attempt to do the responsible practice and giving them a refund for non compliance from their end.       I signed up to take driving lessons, and I paid upfront, the instructor Mr.***** ******** was very unprofessional I paid him 500.00, not to mention he canceled many of the lessons, the day of the road test he rushed me to where I ended up leaving because he text me saying that he had a lesson at 2pm, when my road test was at 12:15pm. How do you treat someone like that, when they paid their money, upfront. I have 1 more lesson back and I would like that money back. He was very discouraging then he told him 2 days before the road test, that I had to pay 150.00 to use the car. This driving school is a rip off and I am warning anyone that wants to take driving lesson to not use this company. I have 1 more lesson and I am afraid to use my last lesson with him, my husband tried to call him to resolve the issue and he started yelling at my husband very unprofessional. I need someone to please help me with this issue.
