      Business response

      10/01/2021

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/02) */ On or around 7-20-2020 360 Restoration llc was contacted by a 3rd party to investigate an Insurance claim at a rental property the claimant owns. This property is occupied by a tenant. We scheduled and appointment with property manager and tenant to view any damage from a water loss (Hot water heater in attic leaked and was replaced by a plumbing company) prior to 360 Restoration doing a site visit the owners insurance company had denied their water loss claim (Damage was less than deductible) We found further damage than insurance adjuster had noted. 360 Restorations estimate was approx. 22,000.00 and after an virtual inspection with a different adjuster we were able to get claim approved for homeowner. Some of items in estimate homeowner decided to preform at a later date. The amount of work to complete now was $16,355.17. We scheduled work to begin and completed most of the repairs except the flooring which we were unable to get do to pandemic issues. Homeowner decided to cancel our contract. We will review work preformed and work not preformed and adjust invoice accordingly. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/09/04) */ We agree that the contractor is capable of determining what needs to be done to restore the property but he lacks the follow through. Initially he was great at communication but once he received half the money for the job, he no longer returned messages or calls nor did he provide any updates. This company, 360 Restoration llc took $8,200 advance for the $16,355.17 work in October 2020 (during the pandemic) and promised to complete the work by Nov 2020. The flooring (******** premium vinyl laminate) was available during the pandemic. We went to 360 Restoration llc's supplier and selected the flooring that was available to install right away. Repairs of less that 2,000 have been completed as per the line items (30,31 & 70-78) submitted to the insurance. Majority of the cost of restoration was for laying down new flooring on the entire first floor. We made numerous attempts by phone, text, and emails to the contractor for updates but there was no response. 360 Restoration llc abandoned the project. We asked for an invoice on work completed multiple times since April 2021 so we could settle our account with him. The contractor refuses to send us an invoice for the completed work and issue us a refund. After almost one year of patiently waiting, we want 360 Restoration to give back about $6,000 so someone else can be hired to complete the work. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/09/13) */ We are reviewing the estimate and as always will make sure we resolve any and all issues with our customer. More Information from the Business: I have communicated with owner and we have agreed on a resolution. We are sending owner refund of work not completed.
