      I hired this company to help me load and unload the U-Haul truck I rented on 06/16/2022. While loading the truck I noticed the movers were not properly trained in how to handle or to load pieces in the truck. For instance, instead of loading my three-seater in long ways they loaded it across. Problem was that the width of the couch was waider than the width of the truck so it ended up being loaded crooked and smached in against the truck walls and wood beams causing my couch to be mishappen. This and other damage was not fully aparent until after my denied claim was submitted. The movers broke my 6 foot dvd shelf in half and even apologized saying they did not realize it was not one piece, which it used to be. They also noted they broke a standing lamp base. Two damages were noted by the movers themselves. I dealt with ******* on my damage list of items but after weeks of waiting only resulted in my claim being denied. I reached out to ******* to no avail so I reached out to the moving company directly, Movers on Demand. While the communication started out pleasantly enough, the owner claimed to reach out to U-Haul and then to try for someone over U-Haul. This went on for weeks with me reaching out to the owner during this period only for her to continuously tell me nothing yet. I proceeded to write bad reviews for ******* as they had denied my claim and nothing was happening. ******* reached back out to me to tell me they denied my claim because the Mover on Demand company, when contacted about my damages, claimed nothing was broken in the move, even though their own movers acknowledged two items that had been broken from their mis-handling. When I shared this information with the owner of Movers on Demand they suddenly went silent. It became apparent to me that this was information they must not have wanted or thought I would find out. I mentioned this to them stating I would simply review this bad experience online and magically the owner found their voice again,

      ************** is not a professional business man--he did not show up twice to repair a window he broke moving furniture out of our apartment. He also refused to pay for the damages.

      1) This particular incident was a personal favor i was doing for a friend. I was asked to pick up a sofa and a love seat, for a mutual friend. Not anything to do with The Movers On Demand Network. Which happend February 1st

      2) Upon this happening, I stayed over half hour that night. Waiting for maintenance to come look at the situation. I left my number and told the ladies to call me after they spoke with maintenance.

      3)They told me on Feb 2nd maintenance would fix $300+ and add the charge to their rent. I told the ladies have a guy that could replace the window for cheaper. Also i asked if I could come by which was the next day Feb 3rd to take measurements. I told them they didn't have to be there and me and my guy could come between 5pm-530pm . They insisted on me waiting until one of them was home later that evening around 7pm. However my repair guy wasn't available at 7pm. So, the next day Feb 3rd I was in the area and asked if I can stop by for measurements. Because they contacted me that morning, I was told no "Redd" (which is 1 part of the female couple) is upset and it wasn't a good idea to stop by. Also they would get maintenance to go ahead and fix. Then the following day which was on a February 4th they contacted me demanding I fix the window by Monday Feb 7th and they would send me the decisions that were taken by maintenance. On February 4th I was heading out of town and wouldn't be back until sometime Feb 7th and this they were told. I got back Feb 7th late that evening. Therefore I was unable to fix at that time..On Feb 8th I saw they had text me( all of this was via text and I have all the messages between us) I once again asked for the demisions. In return all I got was rudeness and attitude along with we don't need you to fix and were going to sue you in court. At that point I told them either you can let me fix the window, but if not...I have nothing further to discuss. From there they have been posting on my reviews and here to bbb.

      1. Mr. ******** never called ahead of time to schedule to measurements on 2/3, which was unprofessional. Additionally, it was not our responsibility to provide measurements for a window Mr. ******** broke. 2. Lastly, every review and complaint we have filed and posted is true and I have pictures of the damaged window. Once this incident happened on 2/1, Mr. ******** never responded to text messages or explained that his tech was unavailable and no-showed. (I have the sent text messages saved). After Mr. ******** no-showed the second time on 2/7 I contacted maintenance to fix the window, by this time we have gone one week on the first floor with a broken window. I offered for Mr. ******** to pay the damages, he was very nasty and declined. We are moving forward to recovering the cost to replace the window. He also went out of town and left us with a broken window--do not use this business!
