This complaint is for the Few Moves in *******, **. I had initially booked a move back on 4/30/24 with *********************. During the move, the three guys that were assigned to me didn't wrap my furniture very well per my request. They damage one piece of my furniture and washer for which I have notify ********************* on 5/13/24 after numerous phone calls to the company for which my phone calls were dodged every time prior. ********************* sent me the claim form via email on 5/13/24 after I had spoken to him about my bad experience with the company. I sent in the form back to ***** in May, which the his email address domain had kicked back to me numerous of times. Then I had forward the claim to **************** via email address. I have called the Raleigh and ********** locations requesting for a follow up on my claim and payment. Once again the company has dodged my phone calls and I have not yet received any payment for the damage furniture.Initial Complaint

We hired Few Moves to move our furniture from our old home to our new home. We purchased full coverage insurance through the company at an additional charge. They damaged many pieces of furniture, sent someone out to inspect. They agreed that the damage was bad and many items needed to be replaced. They agreed to pay us the replacement cost for the furniture, and then they stopped responding to phone calls, text message and emails. They are now avoiding us and refusing to resolve our claim.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2021/11/24) */ We take any and all complaints seriously as we are proud of our 12+ years of experience and the over 500+ reviews our company has enjoyed. We are in the process of reviewing the claim presented by the complainant. Under the guidelines that cover the settling of Full Valuation claims we may elect to settle the claim by repairing the items, replacing the items of making a cash settlement to resolve the matter. We hope to be able to resolve the matter with the customer in short order. Thank you
