    I have no words for the level of unprofessionalism at Fred Anderson Kia of Raleigh (FAKR). My car was broken into (ripped the steering column out/needed a new ignition). The car was taken to the dealership on 01/17. It should have been a quick deal as the car was fixed moderately quickly (02/07). The problem came after the car was fixed. My service advisor let me know the car was ready to be picked up, all I needed to do was pay the deductible. Once I got to FAKR, I quickly learned this was not the case. FAKR would not release the car until the insurance paid the remaining balance. I asked if I could pay out of pocket and if they could reimburse me after they received payment from the insurance. They told me they could not guarantee they would reimburse when they received the payment (basically saying if they got paid twice, that was fine with them). This was frustrating. I was losing out on wages because I could not get to and from work but I said fine and left. After leaving, I called the insurance. Turns out they had sent an e-payment to FAKR before the car was even fixed so the car should have been covered. I called FAKR back and asked about the e-payment. They informed me that they haven't unenrolled in the e-payment system but do not use it, requiring paper checks. After weeks of calling FAKR to ask if they had received the check, I decided to go back up there and speak to someone in person. On 02/28, I returned to FAKR and asked again if I could pay for the car out of pocket and they could reimburse me, this time the answer was yes. I paid the remaining balance. Today is 04/05 and I am just getting an answer from FAKR about reimbursement. The fact that it has taken 58 DAYS to resolve is beyond me. I have NEVER dealt with such incompetent procrastinators. Also, every time I called to ask for an update, it seemed like they were pained to speak to me again (even refusing to answer calls from my #, I had to start calling from *****'s phone).
