Imagine spending over $80k on one vehicle, referring several friends and family to make purchases at the location then to be denied a legitimate warranty part. All while being talked down to by the service manager **** and also a technician. Well, our Volvo SUV had a crack in the windshield that occurred while sitting in our garage the other night. Immediately contacted the location and was met with red tape from service that they dont cover that. Without even knowing the circumstances. Service **** met outside being very gruff, stand-offish, rude, and argumentative. Immediately making accusations that the crack was caused by impact. When we informed him that we had a video of when the incident happened, he immediately back pedaled and stated that the change in temperature caused an old crack to worsen. After telling him that he was grossly inaccurate, his technician became rude and accosting as well stating that it was done on the highway. For about 10 minutes I was accused of damaging the windshield and being called a liar. Rather than go to bat for a loyal customer and handle the claim, **** chose to be a prime example of why this location has 2.0 stars on numerous sites with dozens of reviews. Never once asked how he could rectify the situation, not once offered to get it replaced quickly to avoid a further cracking glass hazard. Spoke with the owner *******************. Basically dismissive, youre on your own, doesnt matter if it happened in the garage because I bet I can find a break point, thats what insurance is for, Im not paying for a windshield that I didnt break, etc. Not once did he apologize for his **** poor employees attitudes. But thats fine. ****** learned and we are posting many places with real world experience with this company. Do not waste your time going to this location. You will be met with an unprofessional staff that makes a sale, then leaves you out to dry if an issue occurs. Specifically avoid dealing with *********** service.

      Weaver Bros., Inc. Response

      01/24/2024

Thank you for allowing us to respond to this review. We understand how frustration can happen when an unexpected repair occurs. In this case, the frustration went beyond the pale. Understanding frustration is one thing, however we dont allow it to manifest into abusive, threatening, or disruptive behavior. In this case it is now also vindictive. This customer has a cracked windshield. It was looked at by at least 5 people. He disagreed with the fact that their opinion was that an impact was the underlying cause of the crack. He then became threatening, loud, and abusive. He tried to blame others for the behavior he exhibited. Storming through the store, loudly claiming to be a Dr. at a local ************** he threatened legal action if he wasnt given a new windshield. His disturbing behavior was witnessed by employees and customers. One customer that overheard him, remarked that she would not let him ever return to the store if she was in charge. I spoke to him the day following his visit (he did place a call to me from a local (i.e. **************** Center) and he was still insistent that despite the age, *****, and condition of his car, his claim was a warranty item. I listened to his story and viewed a video clip that he had made. Based on that and other information, I had no reservation supporting the fact that an impact was the cause of the damaged windshield. I had talked with several employees that had either looked at his car or were in proximity of the visit and could offer me an insight of the events. His account regarding his visit and their version of the attitude and behavior of everyone involved, including him, was vastly different than his account. Coincidentally, as I arrived at ************ store the day of his visit, I personally heard him loudly threatening the employees and accusing **** of yelling at him when in fact, he was the one that was yelling. That being said, during our call he was insistent that we should take care of him and when I said it would be unethical for us to submit a warranty claim, he said that the dealership should "help him at which point I let him know that we had nothing to do with the damage to his vehicle and therefore there was no reason for us to pay for damage to his vehicle, that is what insurance is for. He thanked me for talking to him and indicated he would do as much harm to us on every social media as he could. So, we have an individual has had an accident that has cracked his windshield. He is extremely angry that we will not buy him a new windshield, nor will we submit a false warranty claim to get him a new windshield. If he is a Dr., I would be extremely careful of dealing with him. It should also be noted that this individual does not (although we know him) reveal his name, while hiding behind a keyboard while disparaging (by name) others.
